Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Condescending and Arrogant
Who tells their patients that “they will always be in pain, it’s part of the aging process that they’re going to just have to accept” and that the patient desire to be able to run again is totally unrealistic and will NEVER HAPPEN!” No compassion, no empathy, no eye contact. Told to “ just do what I say”. Orthopedic consult “a waste of time”. Totally unacceptable!

Does not listen Has a bad attitude which caused me to have one back. Kept making claims about my health not true. Tried claiming I had things wrong with me that I didn't based on meds previously prescribed. But medicines have many uses. Should've asked why I was put on a bed. When I tried to correct him he would not listen.

Dr. Ross is amazing. He treats me more like a friend than a patient. He show genuine concern for my issues and ends every visit with, “Please call if you need anything or anything changes”. My favorite doctor in the area.

Extremely pleased with care from Dr. Ross
Dr. Ross was very thorough with ordering tests leading up to the treatment of my lower back pain. My quality of life is so much better. Also, personally, I can't say enough of the professionalism of Dr. Ross and his entire staff. When getting treatment for specific needs, the attitude and kindness of staff is critical to the patient's comfort and confidence. I realize this particular treatment may need to be revisited, and if so, I would not hesitate to continue with Dr. Ross.

Very helpful and thorough
Was a little surprised at the negative reviews. I had a really good experience. I have seen him twice and he was thorough and offered all the potential tests I may need to be properly diagnosed. I usually have to fight a little for that sort of treatment, but he didn't need any convincing.

Feeling so much Better
I was referred to Dr. Ross after chiropractic care failed to help with my chronic lower back pain. He knew exactly what tests I needed and was able to give me multiple options for treatment plans. Instead of pushing me into shots and daily medications, he was supportive of a plan that included physical therapy, medication as needed and continuing to monitor my pain levels and mobility. I've been feeling great and getting back to having a normal life.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Ross.
I saw Dr. Ross a month ago when I had a very excruciating pain from Sciatica. He was very caring and listened to my concerns. Dr. Ross immediately set up a treatment plan to help elevate my pain.

Wonderful results
I highly recommend Dr Ross. I've seen several Drs over the years for severe pain. Previous Dr prescribed surgery so went to Dr Ross for second opinion. He felt pain was originating from a different issue. So glad I listened to him. His treatment has greatly alleviated my level of pain and no surgery. Dr Ross and his staff are wonderful. Highly recommend.

From severe mid back/side pain to total relief.
I developed severe mid back/side pain and ended up at Ortho NY UC. PA examined me and felt I had strained intercostal muscles and prescribed Flexeril at night and no activity for a week. If I saw no improvement he suggested I see my urologist to check for kidney issues as the pain was in that area. Urologist took urine sample and ordered a Renal sonogram both negative and he suggested I return to Ortho NY. I saw Dr Ross and after listening to my tale of "woe" did a full exam. He noticed an area was extremely painful upon palpation. His plan was a course of muscle relaxer (not Flexeril-makes you too drowsy) and an NSAID for pain and reduced inflammation and physical therapy with a 3 week follow up visit with him. After 3 days of taking the medication I noticed my pain greatly diminished. After 5 days I was almost pain free and returned to my normal activities. My PT consisted of many yoga moves and I was able to resume light yoga and stop PT. I was pain free in 7 days. I am 75.

Doesn't fight for his patients
I was sent to Dr. Ross over the summer and had a total of 2 appointments with him. He prescribed me Pregabalin for my condition and my insurance denied it. After looking into this I learned that it is a very expensive drug. When I brought this up, he seemed to have an attitude and said "It's what I prescribed, so you're going to have to pay for it." I would not recommend him and hopefully his ability to practice will be taken. Nobody with this much attitude should be handling patients. He needs to learn how to talk to people. Also, from the reviews below it seems to be an ongoing theme. I have since gotten a second opinion with another provider who handled this with no issues. My insurance denied it, and I had it within days. I thanked the doctor immensely assuming that he had to work magic and he calmly said "that is my job." That is patient care. Dr. Ross is horrible.

These Reviews Speak Truths
First off, I was sent to this "Doctor" from within Ortho, NY. I did not choose to go to him because I would have read these reviews and stayed away. But, I went anyway and the reviews are correct. In fact, I cannot believe how accurate they are. I'm not sure if he has an issue with people but he sure chose the wrong profession for that. No empathy, very sour, huge ego. If he is going to continue this career I suggest he take some sensitivity training? Although, I don't even know if that will work because you cannot properly care for people when your nose is in the air. Listen to the masses and just stay away.

This guy can't be a doctor
First and last visit. He doesn't listen, treats an adult like he is a 5 year old, tells you what is wrong with you before an MRI and tells you to take Acetaminophen for debilitating pain. He and his PA have the personality of a dead fish. STAY AWAY

Dr. Ross is very knowledgeable of the latest pain management techniques. He took time to explain things to me so that I understood. I was scared with what I was going through and I felt like her really cared and took the time to know my individual needs. He helped me to feel comfortable. I felt like I was in the very best of care! He is very professional and yet makes your visit very personal, taking time to make sure you get all the information you need. I feel like he really wanted to help me be in a better place. I never felt rushed or stupid for asking a question. He returns calls in a timely manner and even an email when I had questions. All his staff are absolutely wonderful! I'd highly recommend him and will continue to use him myself as needed.
