I was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis. My initial appointment with Dr Krass was extensive, frank but caring. Dr. Krass identified which symptoms he could treat with surgery and which symptoms could not be helped because of nerve damage. Once I agreed to surgery he was extremely positive and reassuring. The result of surgery was exactly as Dr. Krass had stated and was very successful. It was Dr. Krass' care and concern he had for my recovery that I felt was exceptional. I felt it was well beyond what I expected.

Complete confidence
Dr. Krass and his office staff were amazing. Professional, capable, and compassionate throughout the entire process. Brain surgery is a difficult thing to go through but they were always there, caring and ready to be of any assistance that was needed. I cannot praise Doctor Krass and his staff highly enough.

Dr. Krass was a straight shooter and communicator. He clearly explained options, listened to questions and provided me with the details I needed to consider my treatment alternatives. He was patient about going thru all the questions on my list and I never felt rushed during our appointments. I was lucky that I didn't need surgery to get thru my health crisis, but I would go back to him for future needs and I would recommend him to my friends or family.

Dr Krass was kind, patient, and extremely informative. He always expressed great care as well as great information. I never felt pressured or rushed in making a decision and I always left his office feel better even when facing uncertainty. His entire team was competent and extremely caring during the entire process of surgery and post op appointments. I would 10/10 recommend Dr Krass

Dr Krass is an exceptional Doctor. I was seen in Seattle and given the option of not hiking or skiing, waiting for my pain to become unbearable and then having a neck fusion. Dr Krass ordered tests, thoroughly reviewed the results with me and determined a course of pain management, rather than surgery, made sense for me at this time. I am able to return to the activities I love. I am so grateful I saw this Doctor in Kalispell. Can't say enough positive things about him, his staff and the experience I had.

I recently under went lumbar surgery under the care of Dr. Krass. My surgery , a fusion, went well and I am now healing as expected. Dr. Krass and his staff treated me with respect, caring, understanding and compassion. Everything was explained to me, my husband and our adult children in a way we could understand. All our questions were answered and we were never rushed. I can only sing them praises and recommend them highly.

Dr. Krass is the kind of doctor who cares. It starts with his smile, which seems to radiate out to all his staff. He is efficient allowing you time to let him know what you need to say. He looks for all other options before surgery but when it is needed Dr. Krass is a great surgeon. His aftercare is top notch with great staff. I might seem to be putting him on a pedestal but as a patient with anxiety, I could go on and on about how his team works with patients.

I was diagnosed with a herniated disc L 2-3 after an MRI and had constant numbness running through thigh to lower leg. Had seemed to loose some motor function and certainly lost strength in my left leg, this took place in a very short time looking back probably less than 3 weeks from on set to surgery. After meeting with Dr. Krass we discussed options and his concern about the potential nerve damage that was taking place and suggesting the sooner we could take pressure of the nerve potentially the better outcome. I appreciated his taking the time and explaining the process and potential risks associated with surgery as well as non surgical options. I had a good sense about him, He spoke on my level and you could feel as he sincerely cares for his patients. Great outcome I'm six weeks out just went in for post op doing very well. It's nice living in a small community like ours and not having to travel for care. I don't think your going to find any higher caliber of physician or person.

Dr. Krass was incredibly thorough with explaining my problem, the solution, and the after care. He was also not afraid to tell me my future risks and didn't sugar-coat it. I appreciated his candor and professionalism. My case was rather typical for the pain I was in. A bulged disc pressurizing the sciatic nerve all the way to my foot. Agony for 4 months was enough. Dr. Krass got me on the table and fixed within 2 weeks of meeting him. I'm pain free and back to living my life. I can't recommend him enough! His staff is super friendly, kind, patient, and very knowledgable, as well. Get yourself out of pain sooner than later!

On March 20,2018, Dr. Krass fused my L4/L5 vertebrae at the Kalispell, Montana hospital. The surgery was without complication. He recently released me from a 12-month rehab consisting solely of daily extensive walking. I am 74 years old, symptom free, and normal again. Top rating.

Dr Krass literally saved my life by quickly assessing my problem and then getting a team together to operate immediately, there was some doubt that I would make it thru the night. a second surgery was performed two days later. I am back on the job in less than two months after these critical BRAIN surgeries. I have total and absolute faith in this man and his abilities.

My initial encounter with Dr. Krass was in the ER at Kalispell Regional Medical Center following a traumatic fall. Dr Krass triaged me with amazing skill, care, & expediency with a C1 Jefferson burst fracture, & a fracture of C2, I had previously been fused with hardware from C3 to C6. Thanks to Dr. Krass’s expert guidance, advice, knowledge & candid explanation of the severity of my injuries & the options available to me, not to mention his excellent surgical skills, today I’m fine!

Very happy with the service provided by the Neuroscience & Spine Institute and specifically with the surgical work performed by Dr. Krass. I dealt with significant pain for a good portion of 2017 until the Microdiscectomy surgery in August that provided instant relief. We are lucky to have surgeons of this caliber in our community.

I had back surgery earlier this year due to terrible leg pain. Dr. Krass did the surgery and afterwards I felt immediate relief. I cannot say enough about his bedside manner. He speaks in plain English and discusses alternatives to surgery. His staff is on the ball and I rarely wait more than a few minutes before I see the doctor. His assistant, Amy, is great as well. I have already recommended Dr. Krass to several people. He gave me back my life again!
