Poor communication, clinical staff leaves a lot to be desired. DR. apparently doesn’t remember what was talked about at appointments, and they never answer the phone.

Repeating medical school would not help this doctor. Mulitble times he misdiagnosed my child from saying it was allergy ( which I know she already has -very familiar with this - her allergies, mine and children in my care) . He doesn't listen. My daughter has chronic conditions lm very aware of health changes that take place with her. So when I took her in it was because she was unwell not her normal with allergy day. She was properally diagnosed with the Flu and Strep at Urgent Care. A few days later after going to Dr Kennedys office l had to take her in and because it was contagious the family to Urgent Care as well. This all makes chronic issues beyond worse when it is misdiagnosed and time is important which a Pediatrician should have some knowledge and most of all understanding with care to help treat in a fast and correct manner!!!!! Considering the area had mulitble cases above the normal - HE SHOULD HAVE TESTED I called the office to ask what I should do to help with the skin

My 12 yr. old was referred to him for an ongoing persistant cough that had lasted for about a month. She had been diagnosed with MONO 6 months ago and had been getting illness's frequently since then. Her family doctor felt a pediatrician would be helpful. Instead of listening to her history, or asking questions related to it, he quickly formed his opinion which was that her cough was a "habit" cough. She essentially was not sick. He said to discontinue her meds for the cough and return her to school. When she returned to school several days later still coughing and obviously ill, they called me to pick her up. I immediately took her to urgent care in Hayesville and they ran bloodwork and gave her a strong steroid shot which stopped 90% of her cough right away. They called later to tell me she had a bacterial infection that needed a strong antibiotic. So she is now on a steroid inhaler and on antibiotics. His diagnosis was dangerous to her and could have led to a terrible outcome.
