Dr. Joshua Feiner, MD

I had a terrible experience with Feiner. Instead of addressing my concerns and treating my family member based on symptoms, he relied solely on Free T4 levels and completely dismissed crucial markers like Free T3, Reverse T3, and adrenal function. Despite my loved one having no thyroid and a history of pituitary surgery, he refused to consider the full hormonal picture and insisted that Free T4 was the only thing that mattered.When I asked logical, research-backed questions about thyroid conversion, adrenal health, and metabolism, he was dismissive and condescending, making me feel as if I was stupid for even questioning his approach. He refused to address potential insulin resistance despite my family member being on Zepbound for six months with no weight loss, ignored severe DHEA deficiency, and wouldn’t consider even basic adrenal tests like renin and aldosterone, claiming they were ‘out of his scope.’A good endocrinologist should treat the patient, not just the numbers.

My visit was disgraceful. The nurse came into the room and had a major attitude, she was very rude, proceeded to tell me that I made the appointment wrong, and that the Dr. would have to rush the visit. The nurse left the room and the Dr. came in, telling us that we made the appointment incorrectly and that he would have to "go thru it quickly". We told him we would reschedule if its a problem and he said "no you are here we will proceed". His attitude was very unprofessional, he did a lot of huffing and puffing. We insisted on rescheduling because he made us feel like we were inconveniencing him. He then stated that we would not "be allowed" to reschedule. I've never had this kind of mistreatment from a medical provider. I am shocked and appalled by this experience.

Very knowledgeable and informative my visit was Diagnosis and in depth analysis of my issues and prognosis and suggested course of action was accomplished in a surprisingly short period of time as it was my initial visit I was impressed with his overall displays of competence and gave me a hopeful plan for my treatment prospectively Thank you Dr Feiner
