Friendly & supportive.
Dr. Edlinger was friendly, listened to what was happening with my foot, then made a plan for me to have a successful trip to Europe for three weeks. Which was just what I asked for. He also sent me a kind follow-up email wishing me all the best on my trip and a referral to PT to get further advice before my trip. My trip was successful!

Not sure why my prior review had not shown up, but Dr. Edlinger is an outstanding surgeon who really cares about his patients. My son had chronic flatfoot pain with a diagnosed tarsal coalition. After seeing Dr. Edlinger, he underwent surgery to remove the coalition and correct his flatfoot. He is now able to sign up for abd play sports again. Would definitely recommend Dr. Edlinger to anyone with foot problems!

Not a good surgeon. Left me with a nasty dark, raised & PAINFUL scar. When I mentioned my scar may be a keloid - Edlinger was very dismissive. I am now seeing an out-of-network (NO MORE KAISER) to treat my scar! I would NOT refer Edkinger. I read Edlinger did the same to a patient known as “Bill M”

My grandma had to go to the emergency department last year with a bad ankle fracture after she fell, and Dr. Edlinger was luckily the doctor who was on call to see her with his resident. They straightened and set her ankle before scheduling her for surgery asap. Dr. E did a great job and fixed her ankle so she is now shopping and going on walks again. He is a very straightforward foot and ankle doctor who is trustworthy, friendly, competent and definitely inspires confidence. Our family is so happy that our grandma's injury was placed in such capable hands.

Dr. Edlinger is caring and listens to his patients. He is an excellent surgeon and does his best to help every patient he comes across. My foot pain was unbearable with daily arthritis issues, and after trying lots of conservative options with other doctors, Dr. Edlinger recommended surgery to fuse the joint. No more pain and I am able to get back to life (hiking and golfing). Such a great doc!

Performed metatarsal surgery. During follow up appt. I told him it was painful, toe was floppy, and there was a hard lump at surgical site. He said it was just scar tissue and “hopefully” muscle control would return. I continued to press him about the lump until he finally looked at the x-rays and noticed that the screws were backing out! Another surgery to remove screws. To date, toe does not flex fully, is still painful, and has turned to the right. This guy continued to tell me everything was perfect. Asked for a 2nd opinion and got dept. head who agreed things were not perfect but said ‘surely I must have known the risks’ and there was nothing more they could do. Edlinger had lied repeatedly over the course of a year rather than admit his mistake. That says a lot about his character.
