Dr. Joshua Dixon, MD

I had thyroid cancer and Dr Dixon removed it. His post op care is outstanding and made my recovery so much easier. This is my first surgery since I lost my husband and having Dr Dixon along with his experience and caring is the only way I was able to get through this both physically and definitely emotionally.

He is absolutely amazing! About five years ago, I broke all the bones on the right side of my face, except my mandible. He couldn’t believe my insurance waited almost two weeks to approve a specialist to perform the surgery I needed. Dr. Dixon, not only performed the multiple surgeries, no one can tell that I had surgeries. He is a phenomenal within his specialty and went over and beyond my expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable, very informative, kind-hearted, gentle and never makes me feel rushed during my appointments. Also, I am always blessed for the kind words before all surgeries performed. I recommend him to everyone. Thank you for everything you do.

He really cares about making you feel comfortable and safe and even checks in after surgery, honestly the best.

I am from New England and traveled down to Pensacola for vacation. I had a medical event and needed to see an ENT. Dr. Dixon had a full schedule and managed to fit me in due to the urgent nature of my condition. I am grateful to him and his staff for all their help.

I liked Dr Dixon right away. He is very professional and also seems to really care about his work and patients. Unfortunately some health care workers make you feel rushed, ignored and frankly kinda rude now a days. But he is genuine friendly and goes above and beyond. Hard to find caring people like him. Dr. Dixon did my 9 month old daughter’s ear tubes. He is hands down the best doctor we have encountered. He has an excellent bedside manner, went over the full procedure with me, and prayed with us before they took her back. He followed up with a personal cell phone call not long after surgery to check on my daughter. I highly recommend Dr. Dixon and cannot thank him enough for such a smooth experience, for caring for my child and making me feel comfortable during a very stressful time.

He is one of the best doctors I have had the privilege of having. He is very informative and patient when it comes to questions. On the day of my Surgery he even asked to pray with me which I really appreciated. Never had a dr do that. The following day he called me himself to check on me and see if I had any questions. Again I’ve never had a dr do that. So I can tell he goes out of his way to make his patients comfortable. I highly recommend him!

Upon the very first meeting I was surprisingly comfortable with Dr. Dixon. From bedside manner to supreme knowledge in this field he is an exceptional Doctor. My expectations have been exceeded in every way with the Doctor, the staff, and in terms of ease of doing business. Thanks for being there Dr. Dixon. You are a shining star in Medicine.

Dr. Dixon performed my sinus surgery in February. I am beyond pleased with the results and my new and improved quality of life. Recovery from surgery is always hard, but I would do it over again in a heartbeat.

Made a consultation appointment to get my tonsils removed. That same day we made my surgery appointment and I got to choose what hospital I wanted to have the procedure done at. That morning of my surgery he asked to say a prayer with my mom and I before going under. A day later after my surgery he called checking up on me. Very pleased with how everything went. If I had to do it over. I would most definitely choose him again. Very please and happy patient.

Dr. Dixon is an excellent clinician. He takes his time with his patients, explains procedures and answers and asks questions. Dr. Dixon is an excellent choice for basic ENT needs but also for surgical needs related to the ear nose and throat. Highly recommend.
