Dr. Joseph Zobian, MD

Dr Zobian is an excellent choice for cataract surgery. He is clear in his explanation and addressed my concerns with understanding and information. Both surgeries were asuccess and just as he had explained:Painless, stressless and quick. I am no longer wearing glasses. I have nothing but praise for Dr Zobian and his excellent surgical staff.

Dr. Zobian is exceptional. I have had Type 1 Diabetes for 50 years and therefore have seen an opthologist for approximately the same length of time. As someone with a chronic illness I know how difficult it is to find someone you feel is knowledgeable, skilled, experienced AND has a good bedside manner. Dr. Zobian is all those things! Now that I am getting older I also have cataracts, normal Vision loss and glaucoma. I just had my first eye surgery for the cataracts and I could not be happier. The surgery center was calm, informative, professional and clean. I was put at ease. The staff was very supportive throughout the procedure. Dr. Zobian talked me through the procedure which shows his respect for me as a person. He kept me calm and informed through the entire procedure. All other staff were great also. He had to perform a specialized procedure because if the shape of my eye and could not have been more skilled! Definite recommend!

Dr Zobian diagnosed a rather weird eye problem that I have. He is very professional , straightforward, gentle, and kind. I would highly recommend him as your Ophthalmologist.

My evaluation, surgery, &follow-up with Dr. Zobian were all three professional, polite, & informative. The ladies working directly with him were also excellent. The procedure outcome is excellent. I recommend him without hesitation--in fact, my wife is now a patient & had her first appointment today. I attended. Dr. Zobian was empathetic, polite & informative--& again his staff was excellent. Two thumbs up!

Can I give less than one star? I was sent for a cataract consult. Though his staff was professional, Dr. Zobian was a total jerk, sending me away without addressing my main issues. He also contradicted a fellow doctor and when asked about it, he just shrugged. I would never recommend this man for anything. His arrogance is a smear on all good doctors.

Dr. Zobian correctly diagnosed and repaired my cataracts. Both eyes. The entire process was painless from start to finish. I cannot believe how easy the doctor made this. My vision is perfect.

Dr Zobian had advised cataract surgery for at least a year before I finally decided to proceed. My care could not be improved. Dr Zobian, the FHCP staff and the surgical center made the scheduling, surgery and followup effortless. I was apprised of the various lens options and am delighted with my choice. I was totally comfortable before, during and after the surgery. I cannot think of anything that could be done to improve my experience or result and am confident of Dr Zobian's skill and competence. Retrospectively I should have listened when he first recommended surgery.

Dr Zobian is great. Explained everything to me and was very patient with my questions. Cataract surgery was a snap! The staff couldn’t be nicer. Great experience.

VERY RUDE!!

Too bad Dr. Zobian didn't care to discuss my lifestyle/concerns and give me a full disclosure about trade-offs of cataract surgery and the various lens implants so I could make a true and informed choice. Some staff were good but others rude after surgery. Had issues after 2nd eye and felt he got insulted when I asked questions. His way or no way and he didn't care. Don't trust him. Get a second opinion or another doctor.

Dr. Zobian is a very rude and impatient doctor! For something as important as someones eyes he has no desire to explain things and even asked why you are asking questions! Take care of your eyesight and find a better doctor that actually cares about their patients. I thought the last time I had seen him he was having a bad day. this time he was even worse. He hardly spend anytime with me and was not even going to explain anything to me until I insisted. He was actually came across angry.

On my first visit, Dr. Zobian expertly diagnosed a chronic issue. I was very pleasantly supprised when he quickly corrected another irratating problem without anziety or pain on my part. I highly recommend him.

After 20 years of decreasing vision and increasing frustration with many eye doctors, Dr. Zobian accurately diagnosed and expertly corrected my eyes. A challenging case he was able to leverage considerable experience and restore my vision! No glasses required. He is an intelligent practitioner with a big heart.
