Doctor Z was knowledgeable, answered questions well, did a good job, but for me, his confidence seems to need some encouragement. His lack of eye contact and his posture did not make me feel that he was confident. I know that different personalities and different cultures handle interpersonal communication differently, but in his position I think most patients need and want to see more confidence and direct eye contact etc. Maybe there is some way to help him with this???

I told him I was exposed to RSV. He told me I likely had flu. Told me he would review test results so I could get an RX by 5pm. Results came in at 3:37pm. He reviewed them at 6:17 THE NEXT DAY. Said nothing could be prescribed. I called my PCP and got an RX for benzonatate, which I had asked this doctor for, and he neglected to do so, and I'd rather not cough up a lung. I value integrity. Don't tell me one thing and do another.
