Professional and caring
This is one of those visits that we women are not always thrilled about. Dr Watson is very professional. He’s very easy to speak with and answers my questions respectfully and proactively.

Engaging
I like Dr. Watson. Although he has a quiet disposition, he’s engaging. He answered all of my questions, but also advised me to consult with my oncologist before taking a prescribed medication for my hot flashes.

He wasn't terrible but, I left, feeling a little uneasy. He was not friendly at all. He didn't walk me through the exam like most OB/GYN's do. He didn't seem to be listening to me, I would ask a question, and he would just make a "hm" sound, or not say anything at all, and wouldn't respond with an answer, then I would have to ask the question again, then he would answer. The Pap smear actually hurt, he was pretty rough. He did seem to be thorough, and did seem to be knowledgeable. he stayed in the office for a long time, but I got the feeling like he didn't want me to ask any questions. He's is suggesting a very painful procedure, that I'm not sure is necessary after I researched it. It's only necessary if you want to get pregnant-not at all There are a bunch of things he did not tell me about the preparation for the procedure also, he didn't tell me that you should have the option to be be slightly sedated because it's so painful. and he didn't mention that you should take the next day off of work, either, which everyone who has had it done says you have to do. It doesn't seem like something I even need, so I have to go get a second opinion from another Dr., but judging by how rough he was during the Pap smear, I'm scared to get this very painful procedure done by him honestly, women say it's excruciating, and you have to have a Doctor Who is very caring to walk you through it as he or she is doing this, because it's horrible. He also kept throwing the suggestion of a hysterectomy around, like it was not a big deal The only other thing that I didn't like about the actual office, was that the exam rms did not have a sink with soap and water. The only way they would clean their hands is with sanitizer. so when I had to clean myself up, I could only sanitize my hands and that was gross to me. if another doctor thinks this painful procedure is necessary, then I will move forward, but I don't think I will come back to Watson, because he was so rough

Not the best bedside manner.
Not the worst but definitely not the best. He did a pap smear while examining me, but he did not tell he when he did nor give me any warning or anything. Then I didn't get any aftercare steps or what to expect as far as bleeding or anything & he was aware it was my first pap smear. I also felt he was a little dismissive of my concerns. Will not be going back to him.

He helped me in the er after I was hemmhoraged from my miscarriage. The er doctor did not know what to do but he did. And as soon as he gave my medicine and cleaned me up i felt so much better. He also checked to make sure I passed everything and opted not to do the d&c as it was not needed. I am grateful for his conservative approach.

I've been with Dr. Watson for over 20 years. I trust him completely with my health. My son is alive today because of him. He wasn't on my insurance for a few years and I continued to stay with him as an out of network provider. He stays calm under pressure and has always impressed me. I will stay with him until he retires, which I hope won't be for a while.

I've been a patient of Dr Watson for 23 yrs today i received a voice mail msg from Women's Specialty telling me he's no longer with their practice so if i want to continue to see him i will need to Google and make an appointment. I am unable to locate anything yet. I will tell you, i was his pt prior to his involvement with Women's Specialty. Ever since he joined their group the service has been different, not from him, rather the staff. I'm glad he's moved on, just hoping i can find him!

Dr Watson is a nice guy and have good manners overall but in the wrong field. His office hygiene was disturbing, I left traumatized. The room was tiny and after putting gloves on he was touching drawers and such before attempting internal exam with same gloves. I have been to too many Obgyn to know how an exam should take place. There should have been a tray with all instruments waiting before the exam starts and gloves should be put on only for the exam purpose. Gloves are to protect patient
