As a retired Police Lieutenant I have gone to Dr Thomas for two specific injuries. An exceptionally serious neck injury left me with constant pain and 10 screws and a titanium plate in my neck. The unbearable pain for years forced me to leave my job. Dr Thomas was very concerned about my health and treatment. It was only after years of pain that treatment with Dr Thomas changed everything. He managed to greatly reduce the pain and I also have an increased range of motion. Dr Thomas always left me knowing that my health issues were a priority with him. He is a great man

Excellent Doctor
I have been seeing Dr Thomas going on 2 years now for severe chronic back, leg & neck pain due to spinal stenosis with degeneration of my spine, and arthritis throughout my entire skeleton. When I first walked into his office, I could barely walk with my cane I was in so much pain. Dr Thomas did a thorough evaluation, exam and review of my films and my many past surgeries, my fall down the escalator in 2012, and came up with a plan that today has me walking again, gardening, crafting… etc. He’s literally given me my life back. It’s nice to find an experienced doctor who truly listens, cares and understands. And when I do have a major flareup, I have no trouble getting right in to see him! He’s the best!

Lower Spine Review and recommendation.
I was impressed by Dr. Thomas's office by how quickly I was able to meet with him. Earlier this year my normal PCP couldn't get me to a pain management person for over a month. Upon arriving, Dr. Thomas asked me questions about my situation, watched me walk and then viewed my MRI. In a short while he returned and directly told me that after looking at the MRI he should recommend me to a surgeon. I appreciated his honesty. Certainly, surgery was one of the last things I wanted to hear, however, I had a feeling that is where I may be a this point. Over the past number of months I have been to a Chiropractor, Physical Therapists, a different pain management nurse, and a Platelet Rich Plasma Doctor who first gave me an epidermal. Since I had recently heard so many of my friends who have had wonderful success with Dr. Thomas I felt I had to contact him. I felt immediate trust with him. He was able to provide prescriptions that better helped me control my pain until surgery.

Unprofessional!!!!
Have been going to Dr Thomas for years and I won’t go back While in room he asked me if my husband had a small male organ . And was laughing and joking and carrying on about this. What doctor asks this. Then the anesthetic didn’t take effect and he continued even though I told him this. Then told me to see a shrink for my anxiety. Once again why??? you just shoved a needle into my back without enough anesthesia I didn’t say much. I cringed when the needle went in and I should see a shrink. Ugh. Then the 1st shot didn’t work and had to wait 2 months to get a 2nd.

Five minute appointments and treats you like a new patient each visit. Must be because of all the people being pushed through. Good luck reaching them by phone. Leave a message...maybe I'll call kinda thing. Over a year of dealing with their confusion and only getting worse.

Dr Thomas has kept me to be able to walk without a walker for the past 20 years! Chronic back pain and recently shoulder pain due to those crazy nerves being pinched leave me in constant pain; most of it bearable but sometimes it gets soo bad an injection and medication is warranted. And he has never failed me.

He hit nerves during the last injection; which caused paralysis. Emergency surgeries were critical to correct the paralysis and 2 contagious and med resistant staff infections. Staff kept giving me various excuses as to why they would not give me a copy of my medical records.

I have been a patient of Dr.Thomas for several years now and he has treated me with respect and kindness. He has listened to everything I have had to say about all of my pain issues and him and I together have come up with the right treatments for me. Most of the staff is really nice but, some of his staff are very rude and have no bedside manners at all. Especially the nurse Jen there. She is very rude and ignorant. Otherwise I have had no problems.
