Does not care
He told my Grandfather he was having indigestion for almost two years. When we finally took him to a hospital he had cancer, which started as lung cancer and by the time it was diagnosed it was in his bones he died three weeks later. He then lied in the notes stating he told his son to take him to a specialist, however, his Son was in another state, do not risk your health, go to a different doctor. I see this has happened to others as well.

If your over 65, find someone else that will listen to you. Been going to Dr. Sperduto for over twenty years. He doesn’t like referring to any other Dr, Went to Er because I was so dizzy I couldn’t stand. When I was admitted to the hospital, he came by. He said I had vertigo and should have called him first. It was a weekend, his answering service would have.had to call him. The results were I had had a stroke. Another time I complained about not being able to put pressure on my foot. Told me nothing was wrong with it. Went to a foot Dr. He exrayed my foot told me it was fractured.

Dr. Sperduto 12 yrs my primary Dr. above caring
For 12 yrs. everything I told him, I will do everything I can to stay healthy and fit. As my Primary Dr. he has never let me down, follows up, calls me back timely, no matter what is going on . I am older now, I am still fit and healthy but older. Now its even more important for his expertise, personal attention, & recommendations. I feel secure and I no worries. Thank You. Dr. Sperduto Tonette Carbone

Horrible!
Dr. Sperduto is arrogant and does not like to answer questions. He continually told my father “you’re doing great”, when he completely misdiagnosed his condition and didn’t give him the tests he needed which led to his suffering and unnecessary death. Once he knew that he screwed up my father’s diagnosis he dropped him as a patient after 29 years. My father died 1 week later. This man is not to be trusted.

My mother is very particular and thorough in everything she does. She absolutely loves Dr. Sperduto's practice and manner. I am trying to get an appointment since he isn't on my insurance network and haven't been happy with any of the physicians I have been to since moving to Palm Beach 8 years ago.

Dr. Sperduto does not manage his practice well. His front end staff are terrible, rude, will have you waiting on hold, hang up on your, treat you poorly etc. I am looking for a new doctor.

I am a woman, 59, in excellent shape with mildly high blood pressure & high cholesterol which is hereditary. I had been treated by Dr. Kimberly Sussman in Boynton for 8 years. I never left her office without having to schedule one or another further test (usually performed again in her office). See my health grades review of her. I was in expedient need of a new PCP as I was scheduled for surgery & required pre op clearance. Friends recommended Dr Sperduto, as a thorough, conservative, knowledgeable physician. They were spot on! From my initial visit the entire staff was welcoming, professional, kind and efficient. Dr. Sperduto listened patiently, answered my questions expertly, and it was apparent that he had researched my records prior to my first visit. He returns calls promptly and with patience; he called me with my mammogram results the same day on which I'd had the mammogram! Which Dr does that these days without boutique charges? Dr Sperduto is the quintessential PCP! Bravo!

Unfortunately we have had a number of problems recently with the doctor and his office. We are disappointed because the office used to be better. The doctor needs to work on communication, urgency, and understanding that his decisions are not to be made in a bubble. If you are looking for a physician for the elderly go anywhere else but here. We are currently in a bad position created by this doctor’s office that never should have happened.

This office is run as if there is no pandemic going on. My first visit in June 2020 patients and staff without masks. My second visit in August patients and MOST of staff wearing masks. Patients crammed chair to chair in small waiting room with magazines strew all over. Signing in with one pen and when I asked for hand sanitizer I was told they don't have any. Are you kidding??

Dr. Sperduto has cared for my entire family for decades and I cannot believe anybody would have a bad thing to say about him or his office. Regarding care for the elderly, he cared for my mother for years until she passed away in 2013, and to say he is all about the money is insulting. My mother experienced a three moth lapse in insurance coverage and was on Warfarin which required blood test every few weeks. Dr. Sperduto continued to see her and run her labs at NO CHARGE. Find another doctor that cares that much. Jay and the rest of the office are just the icing on the cake.

What Dr. Speduto has done to my grandmother and many other innocent elderly people is truly unfathomable until you’ve seen it first hand. He has let my grandmother suffer day in and out just to keep money in his pocket. He has not one nurturing, caring, empathetic, or helpful bone in his body. He will not refer my grandmother to get the right help she deserves. On multiple accounts he has sent her home with no treatment/help leaving her sleepless because of pain. DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN.

I could write a page of my one experience with this physician. Bottom line he is dangerous. Never saw him the 6 days my mom was hospitalized. Without seeing her on the day she was discharged, he sent her home anemic, weak, not eating or drinking. I got no home health, rehab, or instructions how to care for a new wound. He is rude, tries to be overbearing, does not listen to nurses or family members. His license should be revoked.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Speeduto’s For a while. The past year and a half I’ve been a “Problem Child”, in that I’ve had a number unique medical issues back to back. Dr. Sperduto has been Very caring, and has gone out of his way to LISTEN to me, and find some much needed solutions. Also, Jay, Dr. Sperduto’s Office Manager is a GEM. He can be emailed for referrals, questions you might have, etc., and is very prompt and professional in his responses.

Stay as far away as possible from this Insurance pilfering Dr - he does not care one iota about his patients - he does not diagnose properly and/or take the time to listen to his patients health problems and act appropriately. He refuses to return calls, to the patient or to coordinate care with any other medical facilities on the patients behalf. Go to HIM and HIM alone so he can collect all fees from the insurance, every possible penny paid out for your care - STAY AWAY FROM HIM!
