Dr. Simpson, simply put, is the best. I’ve been with him over 26 years and the way he helped me was nothing short of miraculous. He is caring and kind, patient and thorough. I have a roofer friends to Dr. Simpson who felt the same as I do. He has been able to help many many people because of his gift! as others have stated, I pay out-of-pocket, and have for many many years. It is worth it! You will find no one better.

100% would recommend Dr Simpson.
I have been seeing Dr Simpson for 16yrs, and have paid out of pocket expenses for at least 10yrs. There is no way I would pay out of pocket if I did not truly value his expertise and knowledge. It took almost 2yrs to find the perfect combination of medications that would work for me. I had many adverse reactions in that 2yr period and he never gave up on me. I trust him and hope he is around for many more years to come.

My favorite psych
I actually pay out of pocket to see him! He did my ECT at Methodist specialist and transplant and while I still struggle with depression the process was flawless and he has helped me get as far as I am today (with both holistic, medications, and more advanced treatments). He always makes me feel welcomed when I go into his office. I've had other psychiatrist that just kinda slap you with some pills, he's very up to date with his research. Would recommend to anyone struggling with severe depression or any other kind of mental illness and not getting results

Gets mad when I try to explain my problems, and I always have to sit in the wiating for 15-30 mins even tho I get there on time. Use to be a great doctor, but now he just seems like he doesn't care to talk to me useless i'm having a good day.

I've been seeing Dr. Simpson for the past 6-7 years ( can't recall exact time I switched to his practice). He is wonderful, very kind hearted, and genuinely concerned about the mental health of his patients. I've worked with and trained many physicians in medical and mental health and have seen my share of doctors without the needed compassion as well as bedside manner. He has both. He is a little older than some, but that isn't a negative point. He brings a wealth of experience.

Seems kind but still stand off or just not very interested in my case or just doesn't care or big work load, biggest problem is prescriptions not being filled on dates needed to be filled because of either lack of communication or again (might not be concerned about me or have to much and should focus on a smaller list of patients) all in all good man good dr. But as stated make sure to call in prescriptions atleast 7 days ahead if can and make sure dr, dr's assistant, Rx are hdling med script >

I've seen more than my fair share of psychiatrists, but it wasn't until I started seeing Dr. Simpson did I see progress. I've seen him for 16 years now and hope he doesn't retire anytime soon because even though I've been doing well now for years, I am well because of his managed care. Most of all he really listens and has an excellent knowledge of the medications available that may help you . I drive 300 miles for my appointments because I won't change doctors.

Even if you need 3min of refills typed out. He's there for you. Especially if you were out of town like me. I wasn't even bothered paying a cancellation fee (was out of state) + pre-paying for next visit. Dr.Simpson is very professional but with a great sense of humor.
