Wouldn't go to anyone else
I've known Dr Ruggerio for over 30 years, prior to that it was his father, impeccable professionalism.. Would not trust my hearing or related ENT problems to anyone else. He is a man that ells it like it is, gets to the point and treats the problem. I would recommend him to anybody without hesitation. Recently had terrible ear pain, thru his patience and understanding he found the cause & treated the problem. He tells you what you need to do and holds you to that treatment. He has impeccable skills & knows how to use them. Unlike other doctors in different expertise he doesn't 'milk the situation' by having you keep coming back. I've had him treat various other ENT problems and he's always come thru.

Dr. Ruggiero was outstanding Doctor , he was the only one that , took the time to find out exactly , what type of infection, that I had. I have been his patient, for around 8 yrs and he has always been, honest and truthfulness. 5 stars all the way.

Although I appreciate his office got me in sooner than July, the appt. was basically short ending with him referring me to a cardiologist. His examination consisted in having me lie down with my head at a 45% angle, raising me up. My dizziness was onset five months ago. My Co2 levels are good, by BP is good, my oxygen levels are good for only having 1 and 2thirds of lung capacity. I know there are several others tests that could have been done to try and clear all sources, he looked in my nose, ears and throat. His exam was like what I got when pregnant going to University hospital satellite clinic, squeezed my ankles and thumped my stomach. He didn't even ask if I had ringing in my ears, which I do, I did have an MRI by another doctor, and prior to this onset I did have fluid in my ears. I'm frustrated, guess since I'm a cancer patient with stage four cancer quality of life isn't imperative for me.

If bedside manner and having a kind, compassionate doctor who listens is important to you I wouldn't go see Dr Ruggiero. Right off the bat I felt like I was being quizzed on my symptoms and everything I said was met with a cocky attitude of 'well that's not sinus related' , 'well that can be caused by other things' ... it's as if he didn't believe me, and that I was stupid for coming to see him. He was demeaning and upsetting and I overheard him fussing about another doctor from the hallway.

He is excellent with our child and was the first ear doctor to really make a difference and help our child's ears. I only wish I would have found him much sooner! So very thankful for him. He is soooo loving and gentle and really cares. I thank God for him. His office staff is also terrific and so easy to talk to as well. I wish more doctor's offices were happy, warm and inviting like his. Our child has been doing so good that he hasn't had to see him in at least a year and we miss him, lol!!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Ruggiero for over 10 years. I find him to be a very knowledgeable physician. He gives you a thorough examination and always listens and answers your questions. His course of treatment has always been very effective for me and solved my problems. I had a hearing problem in one ear and trusted him to operate and he restored my hearing in that ear. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a excellent ENT physician.

I have been going to Dr. Ruggiero for many years. I have always found him to be an excellent listener and spot on with his diagnosis and treatment. He explains the reason for the issue you have and and ensures you leave the office with no unanswered questions or concerns. He has also shown himself to be a very personable and caring doctor.
