Dr. Joseph Prezzato, MD

Dr. Prezzato is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever known. He’s incredibly intelligent, up to date on the latest research/practices, and truly an expert in his field. He’s personable with a sense of humor and a kind, gentle bedside manner, keeps me calm when ordinarily I’m a bit anxious about all things medical, and does not rush or leave you waiting unnecessarily. I always feel heard and respected. He fully supported me in my concerns and wishes for my pregnancy and birth, and safely delivered our healthy baby boy despite unexpected premature labor. He didn’t give up on me when I knew I could birth my baby the way I hoped to, yet during a time of such vulnerability, I felt comforted knowing he was looking out and ready to make tough calls should they have been needed to be made. I trusted his judgment then and still would have had my birth went any differently. You’re an actual person when you’re a patient at his practice, not just a medical record.

Dr. Prezzato and his staff are phenomenal. I was referred to him from my OBGYN to have a procedure done. He was awesome, timely, explained everything, answered and addressed all of my questions and concerns. He’s very thorough and I'm glad that he was the doctor that performed my procedure!

I have been going to Dr. Prezzato for a few years and he is nothing less than amazing. The office staff are equally amazing. They take time to understand your concerns and do EVERYTHING possible to help you. Highly recommend this office for all of your OBGYN needs.

Dr Prezzato and his staff have been great. I had been going to the office for local monitoring needed for my out of state fertility treatment and Dr. Prezzato agreed to performed a Laparoscopy for me. If possible I will not go to any other OB/GYN from now on. I'm so glad I found him. I am truly grateful for stumbling upon Dr. Prezzato and his medical staff at Michigan Institute Of OB/GYN on a social media group. Being a patient of IVF with an outside/out of state clinic I was in need of a salpingectomy and Dr. Prezzato performed the surgery for me. From the consultation, to the surgery, to the follow up Dr. Prezzato and his staff have been amazing. From answering all of my questions and to assisting in finding me the best options and care. This meant a lot especially since I am a self-pay patient. Dr. Prezzato did an amazing job doing my salpingectomy and now I am one step closer to getting my rainbow baby.

I came to Dr. Prezzato for a Bilateral Tubal and he was amazing. He explained everything to me and made me comfortable with the procedure. After the procedure his office checked on me and when I went for my follow up appointment I was in and out. It was a wonderful experience.

Dr. Joseph is my OB. He took care of me during my pregnancy and childbirth with my baby girl this March. During the regular checkups, he would attend to my questions, explain thoroughly and take every concern patiently then give me the detailed answer any expecting mom needs. I felt assured, at ease, and relaxed every time and with every minute closer to my due date. During childbirth, I was more assured that I made the right choice with Dr. Joseph, as he was as calm and assuring as he was in our checkups. He was very confident in the steps he took and in accommodating my unborn child's position to be able to give birth to her naturally without the need for a c-section. Postpartum for me as a first-time mom meant a lot of questions and feeling lost! Every time I send on the portal, he would respond there (or call if needed). Both my husband and I enjoyed the overall experience and are blessed to have our baby girl with us today.

Dr Prezzato and his staff are so welcoming when you come into the office! He’s a great listener and I felt comfortable with him from the beginning. I’ve gone through two pregnancies with him so far starting over two years ago. He preformed two c-sections for me and I felt did a good job. Recovery for both were very easy and any concerns I had and communicated with him were addressed promptly and without making me fell belittled. I would highly recommend Dr Prezzato!

I was referred to Dr Prezzato by my gyn for surgery. I was very impressed with Dr Prezzato because immediately, he discussed his background and his relationship with my gyn and the reason for the referral which was very helpful. Then he explained EVERYTHING about the surgery and what's to be expected. He made our conversation so comfortable and really put me at ease. He is very kind, attentive, and I can't say enough about his superb bedside manners!! Exceptional experience!!

I delivered my precious daughter with him and I have only good things to say. Dr. Prezzato is never on a hurry and really listen to your concerns. The staff at his office is great as well. I never waited more than 5min to be seen.

My visit with Dr. Prezzato was fantastic. I have never had any Doctor that is so willing to take their time to listen to me and answer any question I could think of. Dr.Prezzato has been my OB/GYN for almost six years and I am always satisfied with the care I receive from him and his staff. He has delivered 2/3 of my children and continues to help me navigate other health conditions. I always feel like I’m being heard and have never felt like my concerns are being dismissed. The level of care provided in his office is wonderful.

Dr. Prezzato is very personable and goes above and beyond to make sure you understand things and are comfortable. I’ve had two surgeries performed by him, a laparoscopic myomectomy (2013) and an abdominal myomectomy (2021). Since my first surgery, I’ve gotten married and my husband would come to my appointments and Dr. Prezzato made him feel very comfortable, as well. The surgery went better than I could’ve expected. I barely had any pain. I tell all my friends who are looking for an OB/GYN or who deal with fibroids about him. The one thing I’ve heard from a lot of women of color who have fibroids is their doctor immediately tried to push a hysterectomy and that was never the case with Dr. Prezzato. As a woman who has not had children, he’s done everything to preserve my fertility and for that, I’m thankful.
