A weird experience -- very strange person who missed key concerns, resulting in missed cancer diagnosis.

Dr. Porder is a species of doctor that you rarely find anymore which may explain some of the reviews. He is an old-school, old fashioned primary care cardiologist that is really very thorough. Leave at least an hour or two for an appointment as he goes through every medicine, every health issue and every concern. He listens. He cares. He is a wonderful doctor. This is not fast food, assembly line medicine. Has a great bedside manner. Yes, a little odd but in a nice way.

Dr. Porder was extremely thoughtful and thorough. He looked through all my medications and identified potential side effects others had missed. He was very helpful in thinking through and recommending treatment for my heart problem. He is truly a very knowledgeable, intelligent and conscientious practitioner. Thank you, Dr. Porder!

There is a comment by another reviewer which is spot on. I agree wholeheartedly about that comment. I am pasting it again instead of rewriting anything. "He may be knowledgeable about certain things but he misses serious issues. He's also kind of strange. You wait hours for Your scheduled appointment with no explanation or apology. And he might not even show up. Avoid. The office is as bizarre as he is." Avoid him.
