Excellent Cardiologist!
I was referred to Dr. Joseph O'Toole for a cardiac evaluation in February 2023. My experience was excellent! From the first call to make the appointment, to the check-in process and to getting the preliminary tests done, I thought his office staff were highly efficient, organized and very pleasant people to work with. They made the process seamless. Before meeting with Dr. O'Toole, I provided him with a family cardiac history which he found helpful. I found Dr. O'Toole to be the consummate professional medical doctor. He was very thorough in his evaluation and was an excellent listener. He clearly has a vast knowledge of cardiology and truly cares about his patients and their health. He recommended a nuclear stress test and though it took a few hours, he and his staff did a great job of performing the test. Dr. O'Toole said he would call me the same day with the results, and he did. Dr. O'Toole is a caring, skillful and knowledgeable doctor. I highly recommend him. Thank you.

Long wait times unacceptable. No after visit communication at all. Appointments felt rushed and cavalier once I did finally get his attention. I saw him 3 times for office visits.

Dr. O'toole has been my cardiologist for the better part of a decade. However recently I'm not a fan of continuing with his service nor practice as a whole. He prescribed be a medication when I saw him in May. Without ever telling me the side effects nor it's purpose in any way. That bothers me most as the side effects could be fatal and the condition he assumed I had blood results showed I don't. So my overall understanding is without testing of any kind he made an alleged assumption in prescribing an medication I've no need for and the side effects are strikingly dangerous.
