Dr. Joseph O'Brien, MD

I moved 8 years ago from NJ and I still can't find a doctor like Dr. Obrien. A doctor who listens and really cares about his patients.

Normally I would give Dr O'Brien 5 stars. He is a very likable person and I just think, in general, that Summit Medical Group at this location seems to have gotten very laxed. Someone I know contracted ringworm after a stress test. MY annual physical, however, consisted of a conversation about politics that dominated the 10 minute visit. I have had annual physicals by my previous Primary doctor and it always involved EKG, blood and urine testing. None of that was done at all. My blood pressure was taken, he listened to my lungs tapped my belly , asked about my medications & how I felt and I was on my way. I asked if I needed an EKG or colonoscopy - he said no need. I have since made an appointment for a repeat physical with my former doctor. I am not kidding. I just walked out of there feeling like it was just a visit - not an annual physical .

I really like Dr. O'Brien. I came to see him for a physical since Dr. Lintz retired (bummer) and Dr. O'Brien has a similar personality and I was very comfortable. He addressed my concerns, we chatted, he ordered my bloodwork which can be done right there. This office is very well managed, also - I might add. I highly recommend Dr. O'Brien !!
