Dr. Joseph Mather, MD

I went to my first visit and Dr. Mather took time to listen to my daily life. I will update as I go to see him but he took the time to listen to my issues and concerns. No other doctor has done this level of detail. He seems committed to finding the underlying why and then help you fix the issue. Most of us want a quick fix or magjic pill that only cover up the issues. More to follow on next visits but I give him a 10 out of 10 so far.

Dr. Joe has diagnosed and treated our family for years and through unexpected illnesses such as intestinal parasites after a trip overseas, gut dysbiosis in my youngest child, vitamin deficiencies, and illness stemming from immune weaknesses, he has helped us on the path to wellness and renewed health. His compassionate and caring nature and attentiveness to helping his Patients is unmatched in the medical field of doctors that I have experienced. We are grateful to have him as our primary care doctor.

Earlier this year I was mugged. I went to the hospital out of an abundance of caution. Only my knee was hurting at the time. As time progressed, I had a lot of pain in my chest. I went to Dr. Mather on at least 2 occasions. Basically he said it was soreness and wouldn't last. Only it got worse. Since I paid for him to be my concierge doctor ($700), I had access to his mobile number. I sent him one weekend a text saying how much pain I was in and he sent me back a picture of Tiger Balm Pain-Relieving patches. He never suggested getting x-rays. I go to my hematologist for an annual visit and I casually mention this pain I have been in. She immediately calls and makes me an appointment for x-rays. She called me when she received the results and I had 3 broken ribs. I like doctor Mather but I don't think I could ever trust him with my health again.
