Dr Mando is a very caring, kind doctor. He answers your questions. I feel he did a great job!

After Dr Mandi did the surgery I instantly could see so much more clear. I feel like I got two new eyes.

Dr. Mando was very professional and thorough. He went thru all of the different surgical correction options with me and took his time explaining. He answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. My procedure went great and I have better vision now than I did with contacts or glasses. I cannot recommend Dr. Mando.

I would like to thank Dr. Joseph Mando and his team for the excellent care I received during my cataract surgery at Pacific ClearVision Institute, Eugene OR. From the moment I was referred to Dr. Mando, I was put at ease. His team sent me a video (prior to my consult) that Dr. Mando made explaining how the surgery would progress which answered many of my questions upfront. When I met Dr. Mando, his professionalism and personal confidence was evident. I was pleased that he walked in and asked how to say my last name, as it is not pronounced as written. He always treated me as a person, not just a number. During the consult, he answered all my questions, made sure to go over all of the options, and had me scheduled in no time. My surgery was flawless. Dr. Mando and his team and made sure I was comfortable at all times. His efficiency and skill allowed me to get through this short surgery with no pain, and have no issues afterwards. I highly recommend Dr. Mando.

I was recommended to see Dr. Joe Mando for a second opinion in July 2023 after another surgeon, two months earlier, had done major surgery for a cataract lens that had come loose after 8 years, and was needing another major surgery to correct the tilted new lens on my Iris. I met with Dr. Mando and found him extremely knowledgeable about what needed to be done to repair my vision. He explained exactly what he would be doing and was very good at listening to my concerns and answering each question, showing no hurry to rush my appointment. I left his office feeling very confident in his ability to redo my surgery. The major surgery was done August 3rd and within just one week I could see better then I had the past 3 months! My 20/20 vision has been restored! I absolutely feel confidence in recommending Dr. Mando for your eye care.

Dr Mando did not explain that my cataract surgery may not improve vision. In fact, he was very defensive after my surgery that didn’t work. I paid extra for a lens that he suggested and obviously it didn’t work. I am glad he is moving to Oregon as I would never recommend him

Have been seeing Dr Joe Mando for continued monitoring of several conditions, including slow growing cataracts and Salzman's Nodular Degeneration. Over time the nodules grew to the point that they were obstructing my vision. The procedure to remove them surgically was performed at the clinic. All went well and my vision is much clearer. I highly recommend Dr Mando and his efficient staff for the positive experience and their genuine care.

I saw Dr Mando for a routine annual eye exam. He was very thorough and professional. Highly recommend.

I had corneal transplant surgery in February. The experience wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected and I’m thrilled with the results! I had blurriness in my left eye which is now cleared. Thank you Dr. Mando for my good experience.
