Swinging a Golf Club Three Weeks after Surgery
Dr. Luke is friendly, he listens to me, and he's up-to-date on robotic surgery. Instead of slicing & dicing me, he used the robot at Northside Hospital off Johnson Ferry Road. Since he did not use a scalpel, my recovery time was three weeks instead of three months. Three weeks after out-patient surgery, I'm back to lifting weights & crushing golf balls,

Top surgeon
I had a hernia repair and was happy with every aspect of care. Great office staff in midtown and easy scheduling. Dr. Luke spent time and fully explained details and answered questions. I never felt rushed or impersonal care.

Dr Luke is a wonderful surgeon who has a very warm and reassuring presence. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explains the procedure step-by-step. He listens to the patient.

There are 2 reasons, why I did not rate this practice higher. 1) neither the surgeon nor PA washed their hands or put on gloves when examining me for either visit(before or after surgery). I'm sure it was "medically" fine (maybe they did it outside the exam room), but it was surprising as a patient in today's age. 2) office staff was professional, but not very friendly. Scheduling person kept rolling her eyes whenever I asked a question (sorry...it was my first surgery).

Dr. Luke has a calming spirit when explaining results from tests I have had. He is thorough in answering questions and concerns I have. A friend had a similar surgery and we both shared the same calming experience of Dr. Luke. I would recommend him and their PA Meghan Williams.

Dr. Luke is an extremely intelligent, skillful, technically competent, and caring professional. My physician recommended him because of his skill and the quality of his work. I was very satisfied with my surgery. Since my surgery I've met other former patients and medical professionals who share my high opinion of Dr. Luke. I would highly recommend him.
