Dr. Joseph Kozlowski, DO

Dr Joe is one of the best physicians I have been to. He’s through, relatable and most importantly kind. In addition I like that he’s constantly teaching young doctors, we need more people in medicine like Dr. Joe.

Fantastic clinician and wonderful teaching practice

Orders unnecessary tests and never reviews the results with the patient. Spends very little time during consults and leaves most of the time for med students. I’d never trust this physician with anything more than a cold and a request for quick treatment that could be administered by an Nurse Practitioner. Billing and front desk staff tend to be rude and unhelpful.

Been my primary doctor for almost 40 years. Always there when I need him. Called re blood pressure issue this a.m.- have an appt this afternoon. My pharmacists love him. Always prompt in responding to them.

Had a back problem and after a month of waiting for it to get better, I finally decided to go see Dr. Joe. Following treatment my back was soon MUCH better, nearly back to 100% now. I've been a patent of Dr. Joe for several years and have to say he's probably the best family doctor I've ever seen. Probably a bit selfish of me to say, but I hope he never retires. Dr. Joe has been my primary care physician for about 15 years. I have no complaints with the care I have received. He is a teaching physician and sends in the students to conduct the initial contact and interview the patient. Of course, this limits the one on one time you spend with Dr. Joe. However, you can reject seeing the student if you prefer. Dr. Joe is a very good doctor and has assessed my health correctly and professionally. He treats me as a close friend.

Dr. Kozlowski has been my doctor for 35 years. I am very happy with the care I receive. Always takes time to answer my questions. I have had many health issues including a near death experience over the years. Dr. Koz remembers all my issues which is amazing given the number of patients he sees. Hope I never have to look for another primary care physician.

I have gone to Dr. Joe for 35 years and he has never let me down. He has been very kind and supportive always and I wish he would never retire.

His office is very slow. He does not spend the necessary time with patients, he makes his student doctors do all of the work.

Does not listen to patients. Has a temper and walked out when I mentioned whether a specialist was required for my condition. Should just retire and be put out to pasture.

Don't bother trying to get in as a new patient if you have any pain issues, no matter how minor. Everything was fine until I mentioned that I have a herniated disc. The receptionist made it very clear their practice does not manage pain. I only manage pain with Motrin unless in rare circumstances. She found out I had been prescribed Norco over a year ago (I only took 4 and didn't get a refill) and treated me as if I was a drug addict. Guess I'd be better off with a heart condition or diabetes!

Have referred Doc Joe to many. All have been very pleased.
