I became a patient of Dr. Kittinger many years ago when he first started his practice in Wilmington. He is without a doubt the very best Doctor I have ever been to. A very smart and caring physician! I recommend him most highly! My wife, also his patient, passed away a few years ago and he took the time to write a beautiful note to me expressing his sympathy. Great man, doctor and friend!

Dr Kittinger saved my wife’s life. I can never thank him enough. His thoughtfulness and caring attitude helped me cope with her illness and gave us both the strength to fight. I would highly recommend him to anyone. We drive over an hour to see him because we have so much faith in him and his staff!

I had a great experience with Dr. Kittinger. Very good at listening to you as well as sharing his knowledge. Had been treated in Atlanta for a condition that he said I had no signs of ever having. I really liked him very much! Will definitely go backto him.

Smart man but no bedside manner. My mom didn't understand what was going on at hospital with my dad and he talked to her like she was an idiot. I don't care how smart someone is if they have no empathy.

i have been going to dr. kittinger and his p.a. for 15 years. at age 41 i had to have my first colonoscopy, and every 5 years after that. i will continue to stay with him and choose my insurance plan yearly so that i am sure to be able to have him as my dr. i can get appts. quickly, especially if i am in pain for some reason, and last year when my g.p. missed my pneumonia and i ended up going to him w abdominal pain, his p.a. ordered c.t. scan which indicated a need for a lung c.t.

I have been visiting Dr. Kittinger for many years and on my most recent visit I took my daughter, who is also a nurse, with me as she stays active in my health. What I like about Dr. Kittinger is that he makes me think about my condition and educates me. He asks probing questions, listens, and then helps me to understand. At the end of every visit he asks me what questions I have for him and answers all questions. My daughter was quite impressed. I have all confidence and trust in Dr. Kittinger!

This is the rudest Dr I have ever dealt with. His delivery of my prognosis was disgusting..."You have cancer...You had to have known...We discussed this"....I had never seen this man before in my life...I actually think he had me confused with another patient..

Dr. Kittinger is extremely condescending, misogynistic and flat out rude. His bedside manner while I was in the ER in extreme pain was despicable. He seems to have a god complex. It doesn't really matter what you have to say about your own health, he will tell you what he thinks and if you have any differing opinion he doesn't care to hear it. Don't ever see him. Find someone who will actually listen to you and respect your intuitions about your own body.

I am a dentist in the Wilmington area. Dr Kittinger has performed 4 colonoscopies for me over a 20 year period. The staff at his facility have been professional and personable. The facility is very clean and the equipment up to date. From my experience in developing and managing a Healthcare facility, this group of physicians has it together on all fronts; facility; management;upkeep; employee IT and training; customer service. I hold Dr Kittinger in high regard both professionally and persona
