The Itch Stops Here
dealt with rashy itching behind knees,in elbow joint and small blisters that occured for no apparent reason for decades. seen multiple dermatologist and tried all kinds of OTC products with no real solution. Dr Jorizzo addressed the cause, not the symptom to give me a life long solution. Stop suffering and give him a call, you will be glad you did

There is a reason he only gets one-star, angry reviews from neglected patients. He's crass and distracted. Ultimately dangles life saving medicine, but won't put in the follow-through to make a prescription happen. It's been years of this, all that's happening are quarterly appointments with 2-hour waits and 5-minute appointment times, and while this mythical medication manufacturer begs me for Dr. Jorizzo to provide a diagnostic code so that I can try this medication, Dr. Jorizzo instead continues to prescribe a destructive alternative that worsens my condition and has the added bonus of kidney damage. He won't respond to the medication manufacturer, or to me, but he will put me through this nightmare again every 3 months going forward, as he has done since 2017. I'm done. His bizarre temper, his wild mood swings, inability to remember patients and their cases or you know, review their chart for 3 minutes before an appointment, it's all an unsalvageable disaster.

Patient made sicker, actual help refused – Nov 08, 2019

I’ve seen many dermatologist and by far Dr. Jorizzo is the best. He got straight to the point did a skin sample diagnosed within 15 minutes. There was no beating around the bush you get straight to the point in knew exactly what all my issues were. I would recommend this doctor to my family friends and anyone who is straight to the point hundred percent knows his business. It’s been maybe less than 2 weeks he diagnose every issue Got me the meds I needed and just about everything is healed up with my multiple skin and nail conditions. Even his internal and front desk office personnel were all very professional they did great job to even get me earlier appointments.

Overall, I had a horrifying experience with Dr. Jorizzo and I truly hope no one has to endure the terrible bed side manners he displays. He walked in and immediately began selling his opinion about treatment options while his back was facing me. He quickly breezed through all the material in a very condescending way. I’m sure he is knowledgeable, but without patient centered care it’s a no go. Would not recommend to anyone. Stay clear.

I will never return to this doctor. He did not take time listen to me or the progression of the issue. He kept telling me that med changes I had OVER 6 months prior caused the ACUTE rash (birth control that I had not taken for over 1 yr and antibiotic treatment for acne that had been stopped 6 months prior). He was not paying attention and barely even looked at the rash. He then told me he had written textbooks on dermatology and if I didn’t agree I could leave. So, I did leave. In tears.

I would highly recommend Dr. Jorizzo for any skin problems. My husband suffers from extreme exzema and Dr. Jorizzo was able to diagnose the problem within a short time. Dr. Jorizzo was friendly, explained the treatments thoroughly, and we came away very satisfied.

My first appointment with Dr. Jorizzo took over 3 hours, but I did get to speak with some detail to his assistant about my issue with localized scleraderma. However, on my follow up visit, the assistant was not there and Dr. Jorizzo spent less than three minutes with me and would not allow me to ask any questions. I literally chased him into the hall to ask one question about medication. I am very anti conflict and listen to doctors, but he would not speak to me at all.

Dr Jorizzo is excellent! When we met Dr Jorizzo he sat next to my son and told him he could help with a severe painful cystic issue on his back. He spent a lot of time and gave us hope. We followed up after taking medication and using a cream that the had created and prescribed and within 2 weeks my sons condition was 75% better in two weeks! He is now almost totally healed 1 month later. We are so grateful for his expertise!

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Jorizzo. He was running an hour and fifteen minutes late. When I expressed my frustration, he raised his voice and minimized my reason for scheduling an appointment. I have also seen him for 5 other appointments and he still does not remember me. I told him that I deserve the same level of care as anybody else. Ultimately, he refused to see me and said that if I don't like to wait, and don't like what he says, I can see another doctor.
