Dr Isaacson listened to me and discussed my concerns with me, taking his time to understand my condition and my desired outcome. He was kind, understanding and I felt very comfortable with his assessment of my knee issues.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Isaacson. I should have seen from day one that he was not the right doctor, but I didn't, so I am writing this review to help other patients to not make the same mistake I made. You should have an indication that he is not up to the part when you try calling for an appointment. He is ALWAYS available. Not a good sign. But that does not mean he will use his free time to take care of the patients. My consultations were short, he barely asks questions, and I only noticed how bad he was after trying another doctor for a second opinion. I don't want YOU to have to do that as well. There are much better doctors in this area. Unfortunately, Dr. Isaacson has no manners and makes hurtful jokes. It is one after the other. From saying that my foot was too big for a lady, to tell me to "toughen up" when I was in pain, he makes you feel awful. From beginning to end. You deserve better, you do not need to be told to toughen up while in pain. Go somewhere else, please.

Dr. Isaacson is a tremendous physician. We have taken our daughter, who plays ice hockey, to Dr. Isaacson and he is ALWAYS spot on. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Isaacson.

Dr. Isaacson is a great doctor. You will not be disappointed

Received the single most obscene medical bill of my life from Dr. Isaacson and Cedars imaging +$3k for Xrays of my shoulder and knee. These had been done by another Dr in West LA previously for $300. I called my insurance co. the supervisor there has never seen an X Ray at that dollar figure. MRIs are 1/3 of this fee. The practice is predatory.

Dr. Isaacson is an outstanding surgeon. He has done an arthroplasty on both knees (first one 5 years ago) and I have had excellent results. He is very caring and kind but even more important an extremely skilled surgeon. I have had no problems with either knee. I stood the day of surgery and have not stopped moving since. Also, Cindy, his office assistant is very helpful and efficient. She made everything run smoothly I felt confident I was receiving the best care at all times.

I would sure recommand Dr. Joseph Isaacson MD to any body he is a very caring Individual explains everything very well I would trust him. I have been with Dr. Isaacson for 30 years he is funny and makes you feel very relax. He has a great humor. I would recommend all my family and friends to see him.

I love this doctor! He is all about the patient's needs. I am a 36 year old woman who has had all my surgeries with him. I was diagnosed with bilateral dysplasia at the age of 5. I've had multiple hip surgeries throughout my growing years. He's been my doctor since then. He replaced my right hip at age 30 and it looks like I need a left hip replacement now. I live in Las Vegas but I am willing to fly to Los Angeles to have Dr. Isaacson be my surgeon once again! That's confidence!!!
