After being turned away from numerous doctors in NC and being in pain for nearly 3 years, Dr. Gondusky was willing and able to help me. From the first phone call to the day of surgery, was less than 2 months! Everyone along the way in this process has been nothing but super helpful! It’s something that I very much appreciated!!!

Today was my first visit and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everyone in the office was great, from the receptionist all the way to Dr. Gondusky. He was very thorough and gave a lot of information that will be very helpful.

Dr. Gondusky replaced my left knee on a Thursday. He explained all aspects prior to surgery. I was off the walker by Saturday afternoon and off the cane by Sunday evening. I had only 6 outpatient PT visits and have had an excellent recovery. Dr. Gondusky had previously replaced my right knee, 9 months ago. My overall recovery from both surgery’s has been excellent.Jordan Young is the best orthopedic firm in this area, and their staff is top notch!I would highly recommend them for your orthopedic needs!

He is the best around and I highly recommend him if you need knee surgery. I am very pleased with my results.

Dr. Gondusky is willing to spend time talk to you about your procedure and answering your questions. I felt comfortable with my choice to have a complete knee replacement and have been doing well. My surgery went very well. My healing process is also going well.

Dr. Gondusky listens to you, explains everything in detail about your procedure. Asks you if you have anymore questions. This includes the day of your surgery. He is truly a caring doctor, who does what's best for his patients. I would recommend Dr. Gondusky to anyone who truly wants the best experience and the best doctor. His PA Jessica Tanner, is fabulous too. She is caring, great personality and is also there for the patient.

I started with a different Doctor and was told to go see Dr. Gondusky. Im so glad I did. Everything about this experience (full hip replacement) was perfect. Dr. Gondusky and his staff were truly amazing. Before the surgery I was at an 8-9 pain level woke up from the surgery a 2 and it never got worse only better. I had so many concerns about the healing process that they totally eased my mind about. One week on a cane and off to the races. 4 weeks tomorrow and I am totally back to normal everyday activities. Do exactly as they tell you from surgery to recovery and there will be only results no regrets. Thank you so much for your level of skill and experience. This has made my life so much better. I would recommend them to anyone. And already have!

On my feet working all day 1 week post-op with hip replacement. Three days into my knee replacement I'm doing stairs, walking outside, cooking. No pain meds after 2 days. My PT said he is clearly the best and his patients have the quickest and best recoveries! Super communication and caring in the office and hospital. I'm going to miss him!

A bit of a wait after arriving promptly for my appointment. Don’t really like the self check-in due to my failing eyesight. Dr. Gondusky couldn’t have been nicer. Voicing concern and figuring a plan of action for my medical needs.

In January I had a Hip Replacement and in April a Knee Replacement. Dr. Gondusky was such a kind, caring doctor. Both surgeries went well. I felt that the healing process went by fast. Within 3 weeks after having the hip done, I was completed with PT. On week 4, I was back swimming. The staff was great and very caring to you. His office is top notch and also his PA Jessica. I have recommend him to many people due to my experience. Thank you so much for helping me with my problems. I will be seeing next year for the other two.

I suffered for years with bone on bone hip joint. My advice is do not stall. In 4 weeks I am absolutely pain free and have full mobility in my hip. I guess when you do 275 hip or knee replacements a year you get good. I would never think of using anyone but Dr Gondusky for any further surgery. I haven’t felt this young and pain free in years. I had a partial knee replacement done by Dr. Joseph Gondusky last month and I can not be happier! From start to finish, I have been extremely pleased. I started with severe arthritis in one area of my knee and I ended up with a pain-free knee after Dr. Gondusky's precise skills in completing a partial knee replacement. I have been absolutely amazed at how quickly and pain free my recovery has been in just one month! Even my incision scar is minimal! The whole experience from the time I met Dr Gondusky through the surgery at Sentara Leigh Hospital was very positive without any problems. From my first consultation to post-surgery examination Dr. Gondusky and his staff provided outstanding patient care and services. He addressed all my questions and concerns after recommending I have total right knee replacement based on his examination and was clear and concise of what the surgery would entail. His friendly and proficient staff scheduled all pre- and post-surgical appointments in a most timely manner, coordinated directly with my insurance to obtain the necessary authorizations, and ensured I was kept apprised at each step of the process. On the day of my surgery Dr. Gondusky and his surgical team worked like a well-oiled machine and my total knee replacement was performed without any complications. Thanks to Dr. Gondusky and his exceptional professionalism and surgical expertise I am, for the first time in 10-years, pain free and able to enjoy an active lifestyle again.

Dr Gondusky was very detailed and encouraging during the pre-op visit. He and his staff were highly professional and supportive during post-op meetings and discussions. I was extremely pleased with my rapid and relatively pain-free recovery. Additionally, I was back at my home 4 1/2 hours after leaving surgery and could walk without any support by the third day. Dr. Gondusky and his team, in particular Ms. Tanner, PA, at the Jordan Young Institute are outstanding. In a twelve month period had two knee replacements, both with excellent results and nominal recovery periods. Dr. Gondusky appears to have tremendous demands on his time, so discussions wiht him are necessarily brief, but highly productive. He's a clear, kind, attentive communiator. Ms. Tanner, seems able to devote more time to discussion with patients. She, too, is a clear, kind, and attentive communicator and cheerfully ensures all questions are addressed. This Doctor and his team are terrific!
