Restored Hope
I was in a bad place emotionally; I tore one of two bicep muscles in each arm and my right shoulder had massive tears in the rotator cuff. It was painful to pour a glass of milk so working around the house was out of the question. Dr Galvin assured me he could repair my shoulder and the bicep issue would be mitigated through physical therapy. I am four months out of surgery and I am exceeding my own expectations with regard to recovery. Dr Galvin's skills, knowledge and compassion have greatly contributed to my physical and emotional recovery. I am able to function without pain and that is something I have not been able to say for a long time. I know Dr Galvin has my best interest at heart and he truly cares about my recovery/rehab. I am grateful to Dr. Galvin for putting me back on track because I am a caretaker and I am now able to function at levels I enjoyed prior to my injuries. Thank you Dr. Galvin!! My words are not enough but they are definitely sincere.

Shoulder Surgical Repair
My shoulder was a wreck. Severe arthritis, torn bicep tendon, torn rotator cuff. Dr Galvin gave me excellent council and advice while developing a comprehensive treatment plan. He was extremely professional and took the time to explain my condition, the planned treatment, and the surgical services in a way I easily understood. His surgical work was precise and as non-invasive as possible. The incisions healed quickly without undue scarring. Results were pain relief, joint repaired, and full range of motion returned. Couldn't be happier. Thank you!

Shoulder Replacement 20220425
Dr. Galvin is the consummate professional. He was Thorough with patient education from the beginning. The confidence he portrayed gave me a heightened level of confidence to make a decision and proceed with the shoulder replacement surgery performed 25 April 2022. The team he has have also been really good with how they operate, which is a direct representation of his work ethic. I do appreciate the work he performed and I am confident I will be good for at least 25 more years pain free. Thank you!!

Dr. Galvin followed my spouse's care from the time of a severe ankle fracture in May 0f 2021 through effective surgery which he performed restoring function to the ankle and allowing my wife to walk once more. His expertise and care with compassion are phenomenal in this day and age. He listens to the patient and keeps an open mind.

Dr. Galvin performed a full shoulder replacement in Dec 2020. It is now Apr 2021 and my range of motion is great and the pain is gone. He is a great surgeon and I highly recommend him so much that now I am having him do my other shoulder. I believe that once you find a good mechanic you stick with him and I will be sticking with Dr. Galvin.

My shoulder was in such bad shape that I needed to have a total shoulder replacement. I had it done on Dec. 2 and i am able to use it with 98% mobility now. Dr. Galvin helped me get back into my gardening, playing with my dogs and keeping our home clean. Thank you so much

Dr. Galvin did shoulder surgery on me 25 Jan. 2021 Today is Mar. 10 2021 and I am now back to full mobility for the first time; and 3 other shoulder surgeries on the same shoulder in the early 2000's since my mid 40's when I tore my rotator cuff. I am not back to full strength yet , but that will come being as I now have full range of motion without pain for P.T. my exercises.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Galvin. He was very professional, communicative and very knowledgeable. I had my shoulder surgery back in Feb 2020 if I'm not mistaken. Dr. Galvin answered all my questions and concerns before and after the surgery. He did an excellent job and my shoulder is doing much better a year after my operation. He definitely displays passion in his profession and in my experience, he definitely proves that he cares for his patients like myself greatly. If ever my left shoulder gets dislocated once again, hopefully not, he will be the first person I will contacting. Thank you once again Dr. Galvin. I really appreciate everything you've done to help me.

Dr. Galvin is an extremely competent, professional Surgeon and his bedside manner is very commendable. He performed Reverse Shoulder Replacement Surgery on my right Shoulder on 19 Feb, 2020 and five weeks later I'm progressing very well with very little or no pain. With Physical Therapy, my range of motion is rapidly advancing and believe within a few more weeks, I anticipate being close to 100% and pain free.. My Shoulder has been really giving me issues for over 10 years but like most of us, I shy away from surgeries. He was very good at making me feel at ease and thoroughly explaining the procedure to me and my wife. I highly recommend him!!

I dislocated my right shoulder, which resulted in a broken bone and tendon damage. Dr. Galvin discussed my injury with an associate and determined I would need surgery in October, 2019. I have been receiving physical therapy and occupational therapy twice a week and my range of motion has improved greatly. It has been very easy to get follow-up appointments, as well as telephone visits when I need it. I would recommend Dr. Galvin to any patient needing to have a shoulder repaired.

My experience with Dr. Galvin was excellent. He explained the procedure so that I felt comfortable and confident that I was making the right decision to have the reverse shoulder replacement surgery. I appreciate the follow up appointments to check on my progress. I am 5 weeks into physical therapy and the shoulder is feeling like it is getting better every day.

Dr. Galvin went over everything he would do for my shoulder, showed me on a shoulder display the different replacements. I was nervous about it, people told me it was worst than knee or hip surgeries, but had to have it , well after my surgery, I felt great, waiting for the worst ,but it never came! The hardest part was waiting to start moving it, no pain ,getting my range of motion back , next will be strength training , can’t wait. I could not have had a better Doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Galvin and if I ever have to do the other shoulder, I WILL request him.
