Dr. Joseph Ford, DO

We saw Dr Ford last year as a result of my husband having tumors in his bladder. He was sent to Kaweah Delta and Dr Ford was rude when he met my husband, told him he really had no time for him and probably wouldn't get to the surgery for a day or two. He did do the biopsy that night after all, but then he never came back to see him, my husband was in the hospital a full week and no visit. Then 2 weeks later we go to his office to get the catheter removed, and Dr Ford wanted to do a bladder removal surgery, he said that will be the ultimate outcome, so don't wait. We told him we had an appt the next day with our regular urologist in Clovis. Dr Ford started bad mouthing our doctor and was angry!!So, had we allowed Dr Ford to do his surgery to remove the bladder, we are sure my husband would already be dead. My husband is cancer free and has His bladder intact. Dr Ford believes himself to be the best yet truly he is the only urologist in the area. Worth the trip to Fresno or Clovis.

If you have any value for your life/health, you will NOT go to Dr Ford. This Doctor has very poor communication skills and has zero compassion for his patients. I went to Dr Ford for a biopsy of the prostate, as my primary Physician (which referred me to Dr Ford) questioned as to why Dr Ford is not ordering an MRI of my prostate prior to my prostate biopsy. My primary Physician then stated to have Dr Ford order an MRI, and that’s when Dr Ford got offended and upset as to why I’m questioning how to do his job (shame on him). Dr Ford’s office ghosted me after my MRI request, and I finally had to personally visit his office just to get updates. I am 90% certain the Dr Ford never looked at my MRI and performed my biopsy blindly. The biopsy was negative, per Dr Ford (I am certain I had prostate cancer, but he missed the biopsy samples locations). After another two years, UCLA diagnosed me with Prostate Cancer. Dr Ford would be under qualified to be a Mechanic, IMO.

Excellent in all respects. I am alive today and looking toward a future free of prostate cancer because of the Dr, Ford's knowledge and surgical expertise. Dr. Ford was careful in his explanation of the treatments he proposed. Following surgery, he fully explained the results and possible next steps. Dr. Ford is diligent in reviewing the research on treatments for prostate cancer. He found I was a good candidate for a remarkable second surgery. I am now truly free of cancer due to Dr. Ford.
