My family lives Dr. Follo and hope he never retire
Dr. Follo was recommended for my elderly parents in the early 2000s. We found him to be very knowledgeable as well as attentive both in his office, hospital, and care centers. He was very comforting when my parents passed. He has also been my sister and her 3 special needs daughters for many years. His patience and compassion has helped all of us through may rough times. Now that I live in PA, I drive 1 and a half hours just to be seen by Dr. Follo. His staff has always been wonderful to deal with at the office as well as over the phone. They always make me comfortable weither I'm there for a wellness check or illness. I highly recommend Dr. Follo and his outstanding staff!

The Office is absolutely horrible. You call to make an appointment and they are always stating that there are no appointments until a month out. You call and leave messages regarding appointments or need for medication renewal and do not receive a response. Dr. Follo himself is an amazing doctor, however, according to his office he is never available. However, should you have a bill, the office is constantly calling you and if you do no respond, leaves very very nasty comments on your voice mail.

As I actually really like Dr. Follo and have been a patient for at least 20 years, his staff however especially his office manager is nothing short of dishonest and could actually care less about you or any other patient. I feel this shouldn't be considered a doctors office but more of a "co-pay factory" Beware if you have a wellness visit that you are not supposed to pay for. She will take your copay and it will go into the black hole never to be seen again. If you call the office, there is a real good chance that you won't get to speak to a human. They set up their answering service sometimes in a way that won't even allow you to leave a message. If you are lucky enough to leave a message, do not expect a call back then when you question them expect a million silly excuses. This is actually the most inefficient office I have ever experienced in my entire life. This office doesn't even take credit cards and are still living in the 60's. Incompetence at it's finest. Good luck!

Dr. Follo came highly recommended. Unfortunately, the administrative aspect of his office leaves much to be desired. They do not take credit cards nor can they process payments via your flexible spending plan. You have to bring cash or a check for your co-pay. In addition, it is very difficult to talk with an actual person via telephone. The voicemail service is on during regular business hours and you have to leave a message and hope for a return call.

I came to Dr Follo after having been to a couple of doctors at Summit Medical. They were ok, but I waited so long to see the doctor for maybe 5 minutes. I appreciate Dr Follo taking his time, really listening to me and being an excellent doctor.

I have been going to Dr Follo for as long as I can remember. He is the only Dr that took the time to get to know me and figure out my complaints/issues without pushing medications etc. He is far more knowledge then most specialists that I know or have seen. I drive an hour+ to see him and won’t see any other Dr.

I have been a patient of Dr Follo for many years. He's kind, caring and compassionate. His staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend him. It seems like Liz Winick wants to promote her family issues in a public forum. How totally childish. She sounds like a spoiled brat who is throwing a tantrum because she can't have her way. She must be a peach to be married to.

I used to go to a large group for my primary care doctor but felt I was just another number there. Dr Follo took his time with me and listened to me instead of typing into a keyboard with his back to me. He actually had me come back and went over my bloodwork with me telling me how my numbers were and if we needed to do anything about them. My other Dr had me call up in 2 weeks and they would say, everything seems fine come back in 1 year. It is great to know what my A1c is and was so that I

I have very serious concerns about Dr. Follo's ethics and patient care. He has been my 76 year old mothers primary care phycisian for 6 years. She has difficulties walking and has serious hand trembling issues. He refused to renew her car handicap parking permit and also declined her prescriptions for disorders that he has prescribed for a number of years. His stated reason was that he was angry because she did not have the physical capability to take care of his father.

This man is not a good doctor. Stay away from him. He likes to hear himself talk more than treating his patients. Arrogant, mean, untrustworthy.

Seems like a nice guy but charges exploratory lab tests that aren't covered under your insurance for standard routine checkups. Dishonest doctor just trying to make a buck.
