Dr. Joseph Donohue, MD

Dr Donohue found a colon cancer during a colonoscopy. Two weeks later it was gone. I found him to be very thorough, professional and took the time to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend him.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He preformed a 5 minute procedure ( his words, not mine) in his office and I ended up with four different super bugs. Two of them generally originating in medical settings. While other doctors run cultures and treated me for infection, he kept insisting , there was nothing wrong with it. I am now on third and fourth course of antibiotics and hopefully I will be better. So far I developed a huge hematoma that exploded, under the incision infection and as of lately a deep under skin ulcer. He never acknowledged or treated me for what clearly was a complication of his procedure.

I had hemorrhoid surgery performed by Dr. Donohue. The after care instructions were incorrect and incomplete causing me a visit to the emergency room. While I was following a proper diet and staying hydrated, a proper medication suggestion would have kept me out of the emergency room.

He cared for me when I had to have emergency gall bladder surgery. He was caring, thorough and explained everything. I had total confidence in him and I was not disappointed.
