Dr. Joseph Caruso, MD

I had surgery Monday November 13th Dr. caruso came to me about 30 before, went over everything I should expect and possible adjustment s that may be needed. Thankfully none of the more intrusive measures needed to be taken, and dr Caruso informed me of all possibilities beforehand . These guys know what they’re doing, you’ll be in good hands . My whole experience there was positive, and Dr Caruso( anesthesiologist) and Dr Bennett did a phenomenal job!

Prior to going to the emergency room, I had been to numerous Dr's appt's and no one was taking my illness seriously or recognizing that over the month & a half that I had started going to the Dr's visits that I was getting progressively worse. By the time I went to the emergency room I was delirious, could barely speak (a result of the undiagnosed rare autoimmune disease I would later be diagnosed with), & was much sicker than the Dr's at the visits wanted to recognize. Dr. Michael Caruso ran tests on me in the emergency room, saw the same results the other Dr's saw but recognized something was very.... very wrong. Though the easy and obvious diagnosis supported pneumonia he recognized there was something else going on with me & admitted me to overnight emergency care. For the next 8 days, a team of Dr's came together to figure out what was going on with me, diagnose me, and come up with a plan to heal. Not to be dramatic but if it wasn't for Dr Caruso I know I wouldn't be here today.
