Dr. Joseph Carrasco, MD

My mother was a patient if his and he refused to give her the biopsy results over the phone while she was out of town, when he was the one who ordered the procedure to be done out of town. He finally got on the phone to give the results and proceeded to ask my profession and was extremely rude and unprofessional. The way in which he spoke to us was horrendous. She will never return to this practice. Thankfully, the biopsy was negative.

I have been seeing Dr. Carrasco for the past 6 years, during the time he has always been been caring, and very attentive.

My husband has been to Dr Carrasco office maybe 5x's we find Dr Carrasco to be kind, courteous, professional and a good listener. Husband is looking forward to his next appointment with Dr Carrasco. Very pleased!

Dr Carrasco is kind, courteous, and is never in a hurry. He takes time with his patients and he genuinely cares. He is a fabulous dr.

We are new to the area and we found Dr.Carrasco on our HMOs search engine and on the day we had our first appointment with his nurse (Amy who was very nice) and she excused herself as she had to ask a question about one of my referrals and a man walked back in the room with her and he passed by my wife and I without saying a thing but he did review my medical history and made a comment and then left the room. I then asked Amy if that was another nurse and she replied “ That’s the doctor”. We were both shocked that this doctor thinks he’s on such a high pedestal that he doesn’t even introduce himself to us knowing we are his new patients! Will we have to bow to the king on the next visit? NO because of his egotistical behavior we have found a new PC that actually cares about her patients!

Terrible we have been in his new office 3 times and never got to see him yet! The Practicing Nurse is who comes out to get you. The insurance company has asked me how I like my new physician and I wrote back I have never seen him as yet. I made an appointment in January 2021 to see him personally they told me he was not available till June 2021. Well today is June 2021 and when I and my husband went to see him once again it was the practicing nurse that came to get us. I just canceled him as my doctor with my insurance and don't know if this note will help you but know that as a doctor he never shows just sends his Practicing Nurse instead. I'M DONE!!!!!!

Dr cared more about himself than patients. He denied I got a prescription from his office, I did and had proof. He did not want to get me an interpreter, I am .Deaf. His staff was great but he doesn’t listen or. Make eye contact. Complained he had to pay interpreter even tho he can deduct it from his expense. The government pays. I dislike him.

I had been seeing Dr. Carracci for over a year. February 1st at 2 pm I arrived at 1.58 pm I was told I was five minutes late,so I had to reschedule.They my appointment was 1:50 pm yet my appointment card said 2pm. My husband had been with this Dr. 7 years. He has to drive me because I’m blind in one eye.Glucoma in the other eye. Polio, I have mobility problems. Needless to say We left his practice. But unfortunately in Florida. They will be able to continue treating his patients this way !! Except he want be The Fitzgerald’s.

This fellow is seeming uninterested in anything i tell him during my visit. Rarely will he even make eye contact during visit. I do not plan to see this provider again.

So far I have seen Dr. Currasco, his NP, nurses and staff. I would have to give them all an A+++. I would have no problem recommending them to my family members! Thank You all!

Dr Carrasco and his staff are above and beyond any Doctor i have found around they are caring and get to the bottom of any issues you may have Shannon is a great ARNP they make a great team

Listens to your concerns; generally really cares about his patients

We relocated to Florida in 2014. After seeing the positive ratings on Health Grades and other sources, we selected Dr. Carrasco as our family physician. Thus far we have been satisfied with our choice. I would not hesitate to direct others to this office.
