Worst bedside manners!!
I took my 14 y.o. son to the ER with what turned out to be appendicitis. While I was trying to explain the symptoms because was in so much pain that he couldn’t even talk, this doctor cut me off and said “we’ll get to that later” while swinging his hands in a very condescending way. Looking at the reviews, I guess he is just a disrespectful human being.

Zero Empathy
I'd been having a chronic debilitating headache and pain/pressure behind my eyes and ears that lasted from the time I woke up until going to bed. I could hardly move without having the pain get drastically worse. I was unable to work, live my life, or care for my family as I needed to be doing. This had been going on for over a month while I waited to see an ENT. Over a month of chronic pain and headache. When Dr Cardeiro walked in the room, he was confrontational and rude, said I'm wasting his time & REFUSED to even check me out and didn't even look in my ears/nose after I had just waited for 3 hours and was in terrible pain. He said I needed to go to ENT, and I told him I have an appointment and I've been waiting to see one, but the pain and symptoms keep getting worse and I have run out of options, hence coming to the ER. I had to BEG him to give me a CT scan which showed that I had pansinusitis and needed to start on a strong antibiotic right away. He didn't even apologize.

Misdiagnosed my Child
Gave my son a diagnoses of Viral URI after telling him my sons had a fever for 9 days and something’s wrong. He checked ears and nose and didn’t show any concern of anything being wrong. Said continue fever meds and see dr in 3 days . After discharging us I went to another dr where they found he had a bad ear infection and really swollen tonsils 5 mins into that visit. Which clearly shows the first dr did not do his job . The second dr allowed me to take a peak in my sons ears to see the infection for myself. If I didn’t go right away to another dr my son would have suffered for a few more days listening to his instructions. I’m glad I didn’t and that I went with mothers instincts.

Zero Stars. Worst experience of my life. He and the staff at SNH Medical Center ER should be brought before a medical review board/committee for gross violations to The Patient Code of Conduct. This “Dr.” is time puncher. Clocks in and clocks out. The lack of professionally decorum and commitment to patient care is in my opinion criminal.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in my Life. This guy was so nasty and degrading to me when I went into the E.R. He belittled me and talked down to me to the point that I was so uncomfortable and upset that I left and went to another hospital after I waited to be seen for 4 hours in the waiting room. The next hospital was wonderful and helped me right away. I hope this doctor knows the infection that he laughed at me for “thinking” I had was detected in my bloodwork at the second hospital. This guy should not be a doctor and certainly shouldn’t be working with sick vulnerable people.
