Dr. Joseph Asch, MD

He had me so furious my last visit in Dec. I have had open heart surgery a pacemaker implant up having a major stroke 97% of my brain was affected and I had to have another heart surgery because my mitral valve was so clotted with blood clots I almost died! That wasn't his fault that was my past cardiologist fault so I'm new to Dr Ash do not care for him he is not a people person he doesn't like women or something. He didn't listen to anything I said I had three questions in my phone written down I wanted to ask I was so flustered to get out of that office I was in tears I'll never go back! He didn't give me the time of day and just ran over me like a tractor that's not a good doctor that's not a doctor that cares

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Asch has been my cardiologist for many years. He takes the time to listen and explain. He's thorough and when you are a patient of his you know you are in expert hands. I had to be cardioverted at Parrish Hospital by a doctor before I had Dr. Asch. This other doctor said he didn't know what was wrong. My friend told me about Dr. Asch and when I went to him he spent a lot of time easing my fear and he put me on the right medication. If you want a good, caring cardiologist, look no further!

Showed up in the ICU for congestive heart failure and I've been having an ongoing issue with fluid build-up at a rapid rate. Dr. Asch spoke in absolutes that it was not my heart and could not possibly be my heart. This left all the other specialists baffled because it was by all indications my heart, towards the end of my stay his story changed and he accused my family of lying along with the other hospital physicians. He lost his temper and acted like a child. I'm still not sure what the motivation was behind his behavior. He never apologized and acted as though the outburst never happened.
