Absolutely not professional
Well must I get the records to show exactly, because I will I was going through some issues like loosing my brother, and I had a break down, and I remind you that he told me if anything that happened to me to refuse what the hospital gives to you. So I did and the hospital told me that they can not give me the medicine that Dr Arisco had prescribed, and must I remind you again that when I got out I received a phone call from his wife asking me to come in, and I did as soon as I got in the door he brought me to his back room and said exactly these words I thought I told you not to take any medicine that they give you, and again the staff at the hospital said that they had spoke to Dr Arisco and he said it was ok. Well nothing but wrongful termination and how unprofessional he was his way of treating me, he said exactly I’m. Not his problem anymore

Gave me 3 days worth of medication and asked for a very expensive blood test, then COMPLETELY cut contact. Stopped returning my calls and voicemails, and apparently expected me to function with severe medication withdrawals. To this day I have not heard back from him. Also, he keeps dogs in his (dirty and disorganized) office.

I have been seeing Arisco for over 15 years. He is an amazing individual, his wife is friendly and kind and also his receptionist. I love his practices and his personality, he is caring, listens to your issues and is always open to change should your medication not be working as well as it should. He asks questions about how you are doing every time you visit. He drills it in your mind it is not your fault the way you are, it is a medical condition and not our faults. He has helped me grow as an individual, helped my mental health tremendously and I appreciate how open he is in his opinions. In all honestly he is the best doctor I have ever visited, a great human being in general! He cares about his patients and will do whatever he can to help you become a high functioning member of society the best he possibly can. Please visit him, you will not regret it and again, I have continued seeing him for over 10-15 years which is a great indicator of how much I appreciate his practices.

I’m very fond of Dr. Arisco and his lovely wife. I’ve been dealing with very difficult mental health issues for many years. Dr Arisco knows what he is doing. He’s by far the best Psychiatrist I’ve ever met, and I’ve had a few over my lifetime. I highly recommend Dr Arisco for anyone who is dealing with mental health issues. Warm regards, Eric Norton

Awful experience. The person who answers the phone is not understanding at all, despite working at a place that deals with people who need help and understanding. They are unorganized in appointment times, and despite me calling multiple times to confirm, they canceled just a few MINUTES before and then called & tried to tell me it was my own fault. If you plan on making an appointment I would recommend asking for a confirmation email, but overall do not recommend them at all.

I have been seeing Dr. A since 2005, when another dr. had really messed up my meds (hormone withdrawal after breast cancer diagnosis - not a pretty sight!). The other dr rec. I see Dr. A bec. he said, "He's better at these kinds of drugs than I am!" Wow, understatement! Dr. A. insists that you be part of the decision-making re: what you will take & that you understand why you are taking each med & agree with him that that is the best one for you at the time. I told him he can never retire!

This man's claim of being in practice for 35 yrs tells me he's decades behind in his field after seeing him and being doped up on his prescribed meds for approx 15yrs. I found my own truth after getting off of all of it. Being sedated on meds was only a bandaid for me. Once I left him and got off of the debilitating meds I had a clear enough mind to search for that truth & I found it on my own. He prefers to keep you doped up & compliant (right doc) to continue bringing in the money.!!!!!

Dr. Arisco was seeing my son, I went with him to his appts. When my son started working he had to cover for someone whose parent had died and couldn't get in to see Dr. Arisco, He called to see if he would prescribe a few pills until he could get in. He told him no, I called his answering service and asked if we could get enough to hold him until he got in. They said no call back Monday. What kind of doctor deals with people that have mental illness and don't feel they need medication.
