I loved Dr Michael. Doctor is not the problem. Staff does not answer or return phone calls.

Terrible physician. It is time for him to retire. The doctor and his staff are not patient orientated. They do not return phone calls and prescriptions have more than once been incorrect. Dr. Gendlerman did not help in time of crisis.

Josef Gendlerman MD is an excellent physician! I am leaving because the staff NEVER answers the phone (small office, empty waiting room) recorded message to select refills, or make an appointment, etc. and to leave your DOB and number for a 'call back'. Since COVID this March 2020 I have left two messages for an appointment & the second time asked for Blood Test order before I make a visit. I was sent the test order form, went to Quest Lab results were sent to doctor, with some Abnormal results back in mid July - office has still not contacted me. It is now almost October 1st

I have been very satisfied as a primary care patient of Dr. Gendlerman for several years. He is never rushed during exams and thorough in explaining answers to any questions that I have. My 1 huge complaint with his practice is the archaic method of scheduling visits. By design, the staff does not answer the phone, so you need to just leave a message and hope you are available to answer when they call back. If you happen to be at work and cannot answer, the whole loop starts over again. Zocdoc!

Caring, compassionate and funny. Takes the time to fully understand what is going on. Extremely knowledgeable. Absolutely the best primary care doctor my husband and I have ever had.
