Dr. Jose Polanco, MD

This is my second review. He is an outstanding internist. However, it very frustrating that he or his staff fails to respond to telephone calls or requests made through his patient portal forcing me to go another health care prvider.

Doctor Jose Polanco is one of the best doctors! He is very polite, attentive, listens, explains things thoroughly. Every exchange I have had with him has been entirely pleasant and he puts my mind at ease. The same can be said about his Nurse practitioner Angela who is super sweet. Unfortunately, his medical assistant Tammy is quite the opposite... Every exchange I have had with her, whether in the office or over the phone has left me wanting to find another office. She does not even greet you, is completely rude and has a nasty disposition. She yells when frustrated, and instead of helping you, she will go back and forth with you for no reason. I wish the office would get rid of her because she is just toxic and should not be dealing with the public. I always look forward to seeing the rest of the staff, but I have been unlucky enough to have to deal with her every single time.

We researched and found Dr. Polanco and saw his wonderful reviews and he is one of our family doctors now and we love him. He is very caring, very friendly, very capable and he spends a lot of time with patients. His staff is wonderful and the office is beautiful. We absolutely love Dr. Polanco and almost hate to recommend or review him because we don't want him to get too many patients! Selfish of us, but he's one in a million and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Love, love, love this doctor!

He is our family doctor and has been for many years. Will not look for a replacement. He can't be replaced

Dr. Polanco has been my parents primary doctor for many years now. They have enjoyed his care and have been pleased with the service they get during their office visit. It has become increasingly difficult to get care outside of the office visit. All of the voicemail options routinely go only to voicemail. We usually do not get a return call. I did get a return call last month, I left the message on Thursday and got a call on Monday. Today I was be put on hold until after they closed and left.

Dr. Polanco is a good doctor. Unfortunately, no one in front office ever returns phone calls when one leaves a voicemail. As well, no one seems to respond to any questions left on their "Healow" portal. I do like him but the lack of responsiveness by staff might make me want to look elsewhere.

Dr Polanco is very thorough, always polite and very caring. Appointments are easy to schedule, His office staff are second to none. I've never felt more confidence and dedication in any other doctor.

My husband and I have been patients of Doctor Polanco for several years . He is the most caring doctor we have ever had. He always listens to our concerns and never makes us feel rushed. We are so blessed to have him for our doctor. His office staff is awesome also, especially his nurse Kate. Most of the time when we call with questions she answers the phone directly and if she doesn't, she ALWAYS calls back within a short time. Alex, the doctors assistant is wonderful as well. Very caring.

I was diagnosed with very rare diseases shortly after becoming a patient of Dr Polanco. I was concerned whether he would want to keep as a patient, I am time consuming, and there is very little known about my conditions. I needn't have worried he said I was a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from. Which really meant he had to read anything he could get his hands on to understand what was going on. There aren't very many doctors in this day who would do this. He is a very special doctor.

I have been a patient for 8 years. Dr Polanco gives me excelent, compassionate care in managing two chronic conditions. The office runs smoothly and the staff is very accommodating. I highly recommend this doctor.

He is by far the most patient and understanding Dr. I've ever had! He makes time for every question. He continued trying different things until my problem was solved and never making me feel like I was imagining it. I don't know where I would be if it hadn't been for him. His nurse His Nurse practitioner, Alex & Nurse Kate are so kind and helpful. My mom just moved to FL and she's going to her 1st appt with him this week, I hope they ALL out-live me, so I don't ever have to change! Thanks

I have been going to Dr. Polanco for 16 years. My husband and mother both go to him as well. He has the best bed side manner I have had in a primary care physician. When a coworker comments about needing a PCP, I ALWAYS recommend Dr. Polanco. His PA and nurse is wonderful.

Dr.Polanco is very kind, sweet and understanding. He takes his time with and answers EVERY question. He does not rush you out like other providers. The providers and staff are awesome except for the receptionist that sits at the check in window. Other that I highly recommend his practice.

have already recommended him many times, he take personal interest. shows up as late as it takes to get to see you in hospital and lets you know that your well-being matters to him..

I have been a patient for 15 years. I have recommend my friends and family. I trust him. He cares and he is the best!

He's very thorough, takes his time and gives full details of what's being treated or what's changed since last visit. He's friendly, funny and always smiling. His staff are just as thorough as he is and will go the extra mile for you getting info and records. I've already given his name to my friends!
