Dr. Jose Derdoy, MD

We have gone to Dr Derdoy for several years now and I cannot say enough good things about this physician. He is the only doctor my daughter fully trusts. I’m sure it’s in part due to the fact that he speaks directly to her. He listens to her, he remembers things she’s said in previous appointments and he treats her like an equal. We consider him like family and truly believe he has helped save our daughter’s life.

I was so impressed with Dr. Derdoy. We got an appointment within two days of calling. Everyone else was months out! At the appointment, It was clear he had reviewed all of my daughter's past medical documentation, going back four years, before we even saw him. So he was very prepared for the appointment. He was able to accurately and compassionately diagnose my daughter at her very first appointment. After years of trying to get answers, this doctor made sense of everything within minutes. He was not only extremely knowledgeable but also very personable. I can't recommend him enough. He was the doctor my daughter needed!!!!

His front desk lady was rude and would talk over you. Disrespectful.

Dr Derdoy is a wonderful, dedicated physician. I'm only sorry my daughter is aging out of pediatrics and will need to find someone new. He is her favorite doctor, even as her diagnosis is her biggest challenge. If your child needs help in his speciality, don't hesitate to see him.

Absolutely the best doctor in St. Louis! Both my daughter and granddaughter suffered with GERD and IBS when they were babies and he is absolutely the best doctor for this condition in the St. Louis area.

He is very kind, intelligent, explains everything and answers all questions you may have. Never rushes at your appointment. Great with the kids.

Dr Derdoy is patient, caring, and attentive. He makes sure you understand the situation from all angles and won't leave until you do.
