Several visits
I went several times and got Dr. Abalos, he has always shown concern and compassion with my care. Chronic Back pain , hand and leg care ,whatever it was he would pop in and let me know what was going on or if he was still waiting on something. I adore him and recommend him highly .

Terrible doctor. I told the receptionist that I needed an mri because all normal fo th ms of treatment had not helped my injury. She said ok and had me talk with jorge abalos. He quickly informed me that they don't do non-emergency MRI's and that was the end of the visit. I asked a nurse why I was seen and going to have to pay a $500 er copay when I asked for an mri (something they don't do). jorge came into the waiting room and began yelling at me inches from my face and to get the hell out and stop bothering the staff by asking questions they didnt need to answer. More like questions they don't want to answer because they know they're in the wrong.

I have been lucky enough to have had his care at the ER all throughout my life. He's knowledgeable about the diagnoses and critical care is tailored to be specific and built differently and individually around each of his patients. He's definitely an awesome person and is a Doctor who knows his medicine. He's currently my father's cardiologist and hasn't been wrong yet with his knowledge of the ability to provide our community with the most up-to-date Information as well as resources for such a small town like Artesia... 5 Stars...

Terrible doctor whose God complex is so overwhelming that he forms his own opinion and treatment before even speaking with the patient.
