Great bedside manner, friendly, builds good report
Dr. Rush is one of my favorite doctors. I originally went to him for a 'sick' visit as my primary doctor had no availability. I was unsure about a male gynecologist. However, I found him very personable with a great bedside manner. I then switched to him as my primary GYN. On more than one occasion he was so good at putting me at ease and visiting during annual exams that I thought he'd forgotten to do my breast exam. He said he had and then his nurse confirmed. He had me so focused on what we were visiting about that he completely distracted me from the 'awkward' parts of the appointment. He truly cares about his patients, and I highly recommend him!!

He recommended hormones for me during peri-menopause… I didn’t do well on them and when I called to possibly get an antidepressant because of my reaction to the hormones, I was told I needed to seek counseling via the nurse (he didn’t personally speak to me). The only thing that had changed was the hormones he put me on. Needless to say, I went off the hormones and I am now fine.
