Has no time for patients
My previous Dr at this practice was very caring and generous with his time. When he moved, I switched to Dr. Gottschalk, and he was very curt in comparison. He barely gave me time to explain what had been happening with me and couldn't seem to get away fast enough. I've been with the him for well over a year now, and I've only seen him the one time. I can never get an appointment with him, only an NP or someone else. When I needed a refill for a prescription, it took nearly a week to even get someone to respond, and they refused to refill the prescription for one more dose. It took 5 calls for someone to tell me they would NOT refill it unless I got labs, even though I was to see a specialist in 2 weeks. When I asked to talk with the Dr directly, they put me on with a subordinate, who said she couldn't help me. I told her that's what I asked to speak directly with my Dr, and she still refused to let me. If you want an actual Dr, find someone else.

CARE is NOT in their vocabulary
I would stay clear from this office! IF you are able to get through to anyone on the phone, appointments are NEVER available unless you need something 1 month away. They supposedly have same day appointments available, but when you call there are never any available! The staff is RUDE and UNHELPFUL! The main priority is MONEY, NOT CARE OF PATIENTS!
