Dr. Jordan Bloom is amazing!
Ever since I was a child, I knew I would have to have my aortic valve replaced. I thought I had only two options, mechanical valve or artificial valve until I met Dr. Bloom. I happened to be at MGH, when Dr. Bloom overheard my case. He came to see me and explained to me about the Ross Procedure. I am so glad he did! A month later, Dr. Bloom performed the surgery. He was very thorough when explaining the procedure and recovery. He is very personable, and I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Bloom shows compassion, and you can tell he truly cares about his patients. It has been a little over 2 years since my surgery and I have never felt better. Thank you to Dr. Bloom and his team!

I was recently admitted to newton Wellesley hospital for a severe stomach infection. I was placed under the care of multiples physicians including the chief of surgery. Dr. Bloom was the senior resident who’s team was assigned to my case. Dr. Bloom never stopped ensuring that my level of care was the best it could be but he was also the first physician to realize my infection was returning just by examining me and made sure I was sent to cat scan immediately. One of the best by far.
