CHARGED EXTRA FOR A REFRACTORY TEST THAT MY HUSBAND'S INSURANCE COVERS AS HE HAS A HIGH OPTION INSURANCE.. WE VERIFIED WITH HIS INSURANCE COMPANY AND HIS INSURANCE COMPANY COVERS THE COMPLETE EYE EXAM.. MOVING ON TO THE DOCTOR'S BEDSIDE MANNER. HE NEVER INTRODUCED HIMSELF AND NEVER MADE EYE CONTACT WITH HIS PATIENT NOR MYSELF AS A HUMAN BEING SHOULD.. HE NEVER ASKED HIS PATIENT IF THE PATIENT HAD ANY CONCERNS OR QUESTIONS.. NEVER CAME BACK TO FULLY EXPLAIN THE DIAGNOSIS OF THE EYE EXAM. THE OFFICE MANAGER TOOK THE PAPERS AND WAS THE ONE THAT GAVE THE PATIENT THE FINAL DIAGNOSIS AS IF SHE WAS THE DOCTOR. I WAS LEARY AFTER I SAW THE OFFICE MANAGER TAKE THE DIAGNOSIS INTO HER OWN HANDS.. NEVER HAVING DR.WEISS COME BACK TO EXPLAIN THE FINAL RESULTS. THE MOST HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR..DONT SAY YOU WERE NOT WARNED !!

Office staff was nice, but the doctor was pretty dang rude. I am going to find a new provider

After two hours of testing, Dr. Wise informed me that I should not put off cataract surgery. He explained different IOL options, but excused himself when I inquired about costs. His surgical coordinator handed me scrap paper and wrote notes in pencil. The blade surgery with monofocal lens had no cost listed. I submitted a written request for estimated costs , specifically focusing on price of the IOL by fax on a Friday. On Monday, May 17th, she informed me both she and Dr. Wise were cancelling my surgery because they were annoyed and uncomfortable with my questions. To say I was shocked and horrified by their punitive behavior would be the understatement of the year!
