Horrible doctor who doesn’t care
I went in May and he told me I was fine when I’m not fine. I’ve had sinus infections every month. Then made the mistake of going back and again told I was fine. I’ve been to a lot of ENTs with very complex issues and never have been treated so poorly. I was basically run out of his office. Don’t waste your time with this horrible human. I went to a female the second time thinking maybe she would be a little more compassionate. Nope. She was worse. Only worried about how much they can get insurance approved to bill.

Hungry Dr, poor service
I had an appointment for tube's to be installed and it was a nightmare. At 11:30 I had to wait for 45 minutes to be seen as everyone was in a rush to leave for lunch. When I finally got to see him Dr Wigglehorn began by trying to talk me out of the tubes. He was irritated by my questions and rushed through the operation. (Hes late for lunch, hangry?) local anesthetic did not work and he was visibly frustrated that I was in pain. I refused to let him do the other ear. He failed to give me any after care instructions or fill my RX. I am trying to call them today and they don't answer. In retrospect the anesthetic never had time to kick in becasue the Dr was in such a hurry. He would apply it, then immediately cause me pain by scratching my eardrum to see if it was taking effect. He was huffing and puffing making rude comments like it was my fault the numbing gel wasn't working 'well it's the same one I use for everyone else'. Absolutely the worst bedside manner and sloppy behavior.

I was referred to visit this doctor and It was the worst mistake. He was rude, he couldn't tell me anything about what I was going to see him for. When I asked a question he was respond in a degrading manor. I would recommend my worst enemy to visit this doctor. The doctor is the by far the worst of worst! I don't need to see a doctor who can't even help me and talks to me in a degrading manor

Lost my Medical Records!
Saw the Dr. a couple of times a few years back. Veterans Affairs requested my medical records for a claim I had submitted. The VA never received a reply to their request. I personally went to the Doctors office to inquire as to the delay on providing my medical records to the VA. I was told by staff that my records were unobtainable!

Not thorough or pleasant
This is a review I should have left 9 years ago had I known what my visit with him would lead to today. In 2013 I saw Dr Wigglehorn for hearing loss and tinnitus in my left ear. He performed a hearing test and looked inside my ear, all without ever smiling once. I got the feeling I was a big waste of his time. He told me that he could not see anything wrong with my ear, let me walk out and sent me a bill. At the time I had never heard of a tumor that grows on your hearing nerve and causes hearing loss and tinnitus. Had he done his due diligence he would have sent me for an MRI that would have revealed an acoustic neuroma. Now, 9 years later, I am completely deaf in my left ear and scheduled for a craniotomy to remove a 2.7cm tumor. I should have followed up with a different ENT, but I will never forgive him for not explaining to me what could be happening. I suggest you ALWAYS get a 2nd opinion or better yet save your $$ and your health and see someone else.

I had a Thyroid Glosel Cyst removed. (Quite large) My experience with Dr. Wiggenhorn was excellent! I dont even have a scarr! He was SOOO patient with me, and answered ALL my questions. I highly recommend him. ( i find waiting for good doctors is pretty normal) he is worth any wait!

Horrible experience!!!
Horrible experience. My husband waited over an hour for a scope procedure. The numbing spray weared off way before the Dr. came in. Dr. came in after an hour and started jamming the scope in his nose. The Dr. then acted like my husband was a child. My husband explained that the numbness wore off because he had to wait so long to see him. All the Dr. said was "I have other patients" and had my husband leave. No apology, no procedure, nothing. He should not be practicing as it shows on all of the reviews. Dr. Wiggenhorn is a poor excuse of an ENT.

Waste of time
Spent $250 to be told he’s the wrong doctor to see. Probably could’ve said this over the phone and saved me $250 and a day of missed work.

This is more a review for the practice "Estrella ENT" as a whole. First, they have a web site where you can fill out a form to ask for an appointment. Don't bother doing this because they won't call you back to set one up. Just call instead. Been through this experience more than once... shame on me. Second -- I made an appointment to have my tonsil looked at because it was aching and had white spots on it. My expectation was either of the following: a) Stones -- in which case I expected them to remove them for me or setup a follow up appointment for their removal or.... b) An infection, in which case I expected an anitibiotic. They diagnosed stones, but they didn't offer to help remove them. Instead I was told to deal with them myself or wait and hope they come out on their own. You go on the internet and it says if you need help removing stones, call an ENT. Somebody tell me where I went wrong...

Prior patient-nasal problems. At one point I had Plastic blow up plug in my nose from the e.r. Due to a non Nosebleed. Dr took the plug out (DIDNT deflate first) then shoved a dissolvable plug in, I said ouch-sharp severe pain & pop Dr said “that didn’t hurt it was just uncomfortable, it’ll only last a minutes my body broke in a sweat & almost passed out, he called nurses in who did ice pack & cold air-dr left. Called 5 hours later due to pain & face drawn-NOcall back. Ended at e.r. & had to stay nightin hospital-plug he did caused pressure on nerve , they thought it was stroke cause of pressure His plug Did He said deviated septum surgeries are his ‘bread & butter’ & could add cartilage to collapsed nostrils. After the last visit I couldn’t go back-Afraid-found another ent specialist who can fix the septum but the nostrils are to collapsed for just cartilage, it definitely would NOT work, a different procedure needs to be done, also confirmed with others. Wiggenhorn was wrong, rude

After searching a few different ENTs I ended up choosing Dr. Wiggenhorn to do my surgery (septoplasty and smr). After seeing that his only bad reviews were from people that do not like his personality or the long waits at the office I was intrigued. So I went in had an appointment with him and interviewed him, after the interview I knew he was right for the job. Dr. Wigglenhorn is an excellent surgeon and im super happy I chose him for my surgery. Yes the waits are a little long and his personality is different but they are both deserving I would highly recommend anyone to use him as a surgeon.

Oh my! I sure wish I had read these before I made an appointment for my mother. She is 86 years old, loss of hearing in an ear. She had to have s referral, so with COVID we have waited. And then she was there for 1 1/2 hours waiting and he said what are you here for? Her granddaughter had taken her and was appalled to be treated as they were. They said why don't you come back when you feel better. They were very condescending. Now I don't think I will be able to get her back there and will have to go through the testing again. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! He is very sarcastic and definitely rude when you ask questions or disagree with him. I am still dealing with my original problems that I had when I went to see him. Go someplace else!!

I was a patient of this ENT provider for almost a year. I routinely went in for check ups. I am a military member with issues related to a combat related injury caused by an explosive detonation from an Improvised Explosive Device in Afghanistan back in 2011. Due to having the need for permanent T-Tubes in both ears, I inevitably suffer from ear infections. On one recent occurrence I was unable to see the doctor (due to his vacation) for over a month. Once I received an appointment, the day prior, his staff refused to see me due to my 6 month referral expiring. Even though I have medical insurance as a active-duty service member he refused to see me until the necessary renewal paperwork was processed (3 days later). I was eventually seen, he confirmed the middle ear infection, gave me drops and ignored my symptom complaints and simply said I should return 6 MONTHS later...Now 5 months later, i am having to see a surgeon because Wiggenhorn refused to treat my condition. Stay away

Horrible experience. Had an apt. for well over a month. One week before apt. they called to say doctor was not available. When I explained we needed to get in prior to the end of the year because we had already met our detectable they got us in with another doctor. Took off from work on the day of the appointment, showed up 10 minutes prior to my appointment time, doctor refused to see me because I should have shown up 15 minutes prior to appointment. Got written up at work and cost me tripl

Performed balloon rhinoplasty on me. his staff proscribed me the wrong medication for the procedure. towards the end of the procedure I asked if could stop just a moment because of the pain. he asked if I took my pain meds, I told him I wasn't proscribed any. his expression changed, he looked pail, stared at his nurse. we finished, then he had an angry discussion with his nurse. she apologized, gave me 800mg of ibuprofen for pain causing me to bleed. They're Terrible, avoid at all costs.

Very poor communication. This is not a rating based on one experience. I have called on multiple occasion for myself and my children. Left numerous messages regarding booking appointments, and not once have I received a call back. Each time, I've had to call again until I'm able to reach a receptionist or office staff member. Last week I called to book an appointment and they said they'd call back the following day, which they never did.

Perhaps this man is a good doctor but I found him very condescending. After filling out 5 pages of paperwork and waiting an hour past my appointment time, I saw this doctor. I also had to sign a paper saying that if I didn't keep an appointment and cancel within 24 hours (I think) I would be charged $150. This is fair however, I have been trying to talk to a human for going on 3 days now to get a confirmation of cancellation. They did robo call me and ask me to CONFIRM the very appointment I
