Awesome surgeon
Dr explain everything step by step. i had knee replacement and it's been rough road due to other health issues but he keeps supporting and explaining what we can do and he has great bedside matters.He cares about his patients which makes him more awesome doctor alone .

Second hip replacement
We talked over what the best option would be. After trying shots and physical therapy I decided that a replacement was the best option. I had my left one replaced and Dr. Van Kleunen did a great job with no complications.

KNEE REPLACEMENT
Dr Van Kleunen is one of the best. He is caring, talks to you like a real person by explaining things in words I can understand. He has been so supportive and willing to answer any questions I had. When I'm ready for my other knee to be replaced, there's no question on who I will have complete it.

Satisfied patient
Dr. VanKleunan is a very knowledgeable, patient, compassionate and dedicated professional. He always explained things in a manner that was not medically technical jargon, but explained it in easy to understand laymen’s terms that made me comfortable in my surgical decisions. He and all the staff at UOC are wonderful to work with. Highly recommend.

Meniscus tear.
Dr. Vanklunen was very professional in all contacts. He explained what had occurred with my knee in easy to understand terms. Post-op appointment was a positive experience also.

Great doctor with excellent bedside manner!
Dr vankleunan takes his time and explains everything in detail with you. Surgical intervention is his last resort. He has performed my hip replacement, both knee replacements, bilateral ulnar nerve surgery and is now getting ready to do a 2nd shoulder surgery for me. I am a Registered Nurse and i hold high regards for all of the drs at UOC as i have had to deal with them for my patients when i was a home health nurse.

Explained everything before and after surgery
Prior to and post surgery he explained everything and what to expect in understandable terms. Was friendly and not pushy. Surgery went well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Van Kleunen.

Best surgeon in my book
Repaired my completely torn off the bone left tricep in July. He done an amazing job. Hardly no pain after surgery until PT started. Highly recommend him to everyone if need of surgery. Perfect 10

Takes the time to listen
The doctor came in and was very relaxed. I did not feel like I needed to rush through what I had to say. I came with a lot of questions and that did not seem to bother him. he took the time to explain very carefully what my condition was, and what could be done for it. He also gave me hope, because I thought that my arthritis was much more advanced. He listened, and I felt like he heard what I had to say.

Talks with his patient
The doctor really talked to me and listened to what I had to say about the symptoms I had experienced with my swollen, right knee. He ordered some blood tests which I believe finally led to a diagnosis explaining the cause of my inflammation.

Had rotator cuff surgery done by Dr Van cleen twice now he was the only doctor that would look at my shoulder and didn't push me off to another doctor

Dr. Vankleunen
Dr. Vankleunen was a very nice and easy guy to talk to, he explained everything about my shoulder problems and how he was going to fix it, he did an awesome job fixing my shoulder I feel it’s as strong if not stronger than it use to be, he also did carpal tunnel surgery, which he squeezed in on a Friday before his vacation, and you can hardly see where he made the incision. He is a great surgeon and I’m really impressed with his work.
