Gastroenterologists are not the most popular physicians; however, they save lives daily through early disease detection and intervention. Dr. Siegal's bio states 'A notable fact about Dr. Siegel is that he believes all patients need medical care, but many seek something else. It may be reassurance, it may be support through a difficult time, it may be the kindness of empathy, and he relentlessly strives to identify and provide for that need.' Without question, this is how Dr. Siegal approaches his patients. My sister died of colon cancer. Dr. Siegal has been my gastroenterologist since her death, and I began having early and routine exams. My colonoscopy was due in 2024 and with his thorough evaluation and empathetic approach before and during the procedure Dr. Siegal was able to put my anxiety to rest with the promise of the best care possible. Without question, Dr. Siegal is the best doctor you never want to visit but do it anyway! It may save your life.

MY FAVORITE GI SPECIALIST

I recently had a gtube put in and after going home, it was too tight and I was in a lot of pain. I met him in the ER. He was funny, informative and taught me how to adjust the tube myself. I felt brave and like he really cared about what I was going through. I will definitely go back to see him again and trust him with my health.

He is so attentive and caring and he never fails to make a patients day!!

Dr. Siegel is one of the few dr’s left that actually cares about his patients. He always listens and takes the time you need. He does not rush in and out. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr Siegel by my PCP who spoke in high regard for him. From the moment he entered the exam room, he was very personable and put me at ease. He never appeared rushed at all and in fact, was very thorough and answered a number of questions I had. His staff seemed very efficient, as well. A minor procedure was later performed by Dr Siegel at Surgicare and that place runs like a well-oiled machine with a personal touch. I highly recommend Dr Siegel.

My daughter was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease recently by Dr Siegel. She was petrified that she had colon cancer. He sat and talked with her until she stopped crying. Most doctors would not have taken the time. She also has financial issues, and he has even worked with her on this so she can continue her treatments! He is not only a great doctor, he is a great human being!

I’ve used Dr. Siegel for over 10 years and have been very pleased with his care. He is very knowledgeable, attentive and personable. Communication is timely and his nurse, as well as other staff members are professional and helpful. Highly recommend!
