Hired gun for workman's comp BEWARE
He is the worst doctor I've ever seen in my lifetime 100% hired gun for Workmen's Comp.. He does not do his job. He rushes you. If you have pain, he will tell you that you do not have pain and he will report it to Workmen's Comp. Run away from this guy

Treats You Like You're Wasting His Time
When I entered the examination room with a large contusion on my head and suffering from many symptoms from a fall, I thought I was being punked. Dr. Rutchik walked in and took a seat directly across from me. Without so much as an acknowledgment, he continued his conversation on his cell phone with his financial advisor. I sat there in a state of consternation as Rutchik proceeded to tell his investor what to invest more of and what to invest less of. Finally, he gets off his phone, and with no apology for his unprofessional behavior, drills me with a dismissive attitude--like I was wasting his time. He wrote subjective conclusions about me in my notes without providing any further information to substantiate those conclusions. I have so much more to say, but there are strict rules that I must comply to in writing this review, so I just want to help out others who might not know about this doctor. Find a doctor with an ounce of empathy.

I have only seen Dr. J. Rutchik once and I liked him. Yes the wait was long but worth it. Because it’s the pandemic I have been doing video chats with Lori Douglas, NP. She is wonderful and my case is a workers comp case, so she has really gone to bat for me when things she orders doesn’t get approved. I think the problem many people have with his office is really workers comp.

This is by far the worst doctor I have ever seen in my many years going to healthcare facilities. He is rude, aggressive and most certainly has no bedside manner and does not care about the patient. He obviously is only looking for that health insurance check. I was in the office 1 1/2 hours and saw him a total of 15 minutes. It was 15 minute too long. He literally ruined my day, weekend and week.

I was totally disgusted by his attitude and treatment of patients. From what I observed it was not just me. Unfortunately, I was stuck with him due to it being a workers comp case. I wish there was a zero rating! How does this guy even have a medical license? He is extremely rude, condescending and unprofessional! On top of that he is just a plain jerk. He does not care about his patients at all! The way the office is run is just a mess. It seems like they don't have much of an idea what they are doing. It seems they over book on purpose, to squeeze as many people as possible through in one day. It's very obvious his only concern is running as many patients through his office as possible to generate income.

This was the worst doctors office experience ever. This doctor does not care about the patients, he appeared visibly annoyed that I was there and said “What do you want from me”. He was unprepared, blamed me for his office not having the paperwork I sent in. It was all rushed and the entire visit was completely unprofessional. Please stay away from this guy!

I Absolutely Would Not Recommend. It was a 2 1/2 hour wait time. Rushed appointment with very brief examination. He was very abrupt, intimidating and interrupted my responses. I wrote my issues to not waste time during the appointment and attempted to provide him with the list to which he stated, "I don't want your list". He made recommendations but never followed through with submitting to insurance to be approved and scheduled. Insurance made several requests for the report over a 3 month period. When it was finally received it was a very poorly done cut and paste report that had multiple errors, wrong name in multiple places and billing references to services not provided ( 20 mins of counseling on stopping smoking- I've never smoked, 20 mins training in meditation) during the very brief visit. I waited months for an appointment and was extremely disappointed. Total waste of time and delay to my recovery. Can't give 0 stars to Rutchik so his kind staff earned him 1 star.

As too many people have already stated, this guy is the worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. He is rude, aggressive and completely uncaring. He left my arm bleeding after slamming probes into my arm. Didn’t care to go over his initial findings with me and basically told me “you can leave now” after turning his back on me as soon as he finished slamming probes into my arms. Don’t go here unless you have no choice..

One of the most unprofessional physicians I have ever experienced in my life and clearly in the business to run as many patients through his mill as possible without regard to anyone's time but his own, recommend to avoid him at all costs. Gets referrals wrong and then blames you and puts the onus of a correction on your shoulders. No return phone calls from his office. Show up for appointments and get told I didn't have you scheduled (despite getting reminders from his office). Wait time 1-2hr.

I have never written a negative review, but I simply have to warm others. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He hands down has THE WORST bedside manner I've ever experienced. He was aggressive, impatient and rude. I don't believe he has an ounce of compassion for his patients. I feel traumatized by the experience I had today. If I could give him zero stars I would. The only thing positive was his assistant that conducted my nerve test. He was very kind, and caring.Avoid Dr. Rutchik

I would give 0 stars if I could. Dr. Rutchiks takes on so many patients at the San Francisco office and makes everyone wait way past theor appointment time. My 1st appointment I had to wait 1 hr and 30min past my appointment time. The entire visit lasted 3 hours. He talked over me did not examine me on the 2nd visit only asked questions which he could have done over the phone. Wasted my time and cab fare. Very disappointed he goes by the other doctors have said in their reports.

Wait time, yeah.. Bring a book. Rudeness, ask questions then interrupt you when answering. If you bring your spouse in he'll tell them to be quite? Rudeness, unorganized, & quite frankly I think he's just doing it for the money. Seek out a different doctor.
