Dr Rene discounted my crooked fingers, swollen joints and complaint of pain, when told I had fibromyalgia with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The treatment he would want my PCP to center on was for my Fibromyalgia. I needed more light exercise. No mention of treatment of my R A. I can’t understand this physician’s focus. I won’t return to him. To deny my R.A. Is ridiculous. I’ve been treated for almost 10 years by 2 physicians for it. I read similar surveys here but they have ‘disappeared’ now. I wonder how long mine will stay posted. Do not waste your money here. I’m in healthcare myself.

Against my better judgment and looking at the reviews I went to this Dr. His bedside manner isn't the best. I have spent many years in healthcare and I can be sure to share with you that it became very obvious that the only reason this physician still get patients is because his specialty is scarce in the mid Michigan area. Also, I left with more questions than I came in with. He diagnoses off the cuff and has no desire to research or investigate to get to the root of a problem but instead is dismissive. He just affirmed the belief for me that our health system continues to fail its patients. Dr Rene, do better.

Friendly, computer using, takes time to listen, interested in my needs; takes charge cards now. Orders refills on prescriptions when I request, doesn't take orders from pharmacies- small issue. Waiting room (pre-covid) normally has only one or no one waiting- not overflowing as other doctor offices I have been to; don't have the rushed feeling. Very pleased with Dr. Rene's care.

Horrible bedside manner, gives you time (maybe 5 minutes) but not attention. Wouldn't refill my prescriptions a month after I'd seen him. When I had a flare, he told me to take 2 Aleve, seriously? I was already taking anti-inflammatory, biological, & pain meds but thought maybe he knew something I didn't. Did nothing for my flare but got my ulcer going good. Couldn't get anyone to return my calls when I informed them that wasn't working.

Will not go back ever. Dr does not talk to you as to options for helping with your arthritis doesn't even spends 5 minutes in the room with you. I had them call to remind me of an appointment when I called back to let them know I will be there they stated they gave my appointment to someone else then tried to charge me for the visit still!! I refused to pay and told them why. Seems they like to double dip on their patients

Poor office staff on checking patients in and out re-schedule other appointments. Never get back to you on time. Been waiting for 1 1/2 years to get infusion and they screwed the blood work up and screwed up the infusion appt. have to make several phone calls and they never call back. Was told he is a great Dr but in my opinion it is the worse office to go to. Have long lasting illnesses and can't afford to have a dr or office staff in danger my life.

Does not offer office hours to accommodate working class. Have to take time off work to see him. Does not accept credit card payment which would be a HSA account. Requires more work on the patients part. This is not customer friendly.
