Dr. Jonathan Pletcher, MD

Dr. Jonathan Pletcher is, without a doubt, one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. From the very first visit, it's clear how much he cares about his patients. He takes the time to really listen and always makes sure to explain everything in detail, no matter how many times we need clarification. He never rushes through an appointment and always makes me feel like a priority.What stands out most about Dr. Pletcher is his genuine compassion. You can feel that he truly cares about your well-being. He goes above and beyond, offering support and understanding at every step, and his kindness makes all the difference. I am so grateful for the way he takes care of me, and for the trust he’s built.Dr. Pletcher is a rare find—a doctor who not only has the expertise but also a heart for his patients. I am incredibly thankful for everything he’s done, and I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

DO NOT HAVE DR PLETCHER AS A DOCTOR. He told me that he couldn’t address my concerns because he will only make changes that my parents were on board with. He made multiple “adjustments” that I was uncomfortable with and made being in the hospital 10x harder. He talked to me as if I was stupid and incapable of making decisions for myself. Terrible experience..

HORRIBLE doctor, was in chop for 3 months he was my doctor twice, I’ve seen countless doctors for my gi stuff and he was the only one who kept insisting I have a behavioural problem that causes nausea and vomiting and excruciating pain after eating. I saw a specialist who saw something on my ultrasound and was absolutely horrified when he heard about dr pletcher saying I had a behavioural problem. I would not recommend this doctor at all. Misdiagnosed me with pelvic floor dysfunction (which 3 other doctors said they don’t think I have) he doesn’t like to be told he’s wrong, if you tell him he’s wrong he will get defensive and argue with you. (Keep in mind I was a PEDIATRIC patient) do not go to this doctor you will deeply regret it, he gaslights and he will misdiagnose you. Run for your life. Stay away from this doctor you will thank me later.

I can't sum it up in just one review. Dr. Pletcher treated me for medical complications of anorexia nervosa. I didn't see him until I was 12 years old but he has changed my life. Not only was he incredibly professional but was someone who treated me with upmost respect and I felt human. He made me feel important and that I could be separated from who my eating disorder made me. I will continue to fight to pay my respect for all he did, though I'll never be able to thank him enough.
