Great bedside manner from first appointment through surgery and follow up. I appreciate honesty and realness and that’s what I received from Dr. Owens. (Tonsillectomy).

Get another !
Get another doctor, I did. His was great but his follow-up performance was pitiful. Called to get an appointment when new problems were devolving and was told next I could be seen was 7 weeks later! Plus tried to fill an existing prescription and it been over a week, and 3 times the pharmacy called: no responses. THIS 'doctor' or nursing staff belongs in a non-service industry!

Get a second opinion!
He loves to schedule you surgery even if it’s not needed. Please get a second opinion. He ruined my life and I was only 30 at the time.

I had 5 visits $40 copay each time. No relief
Only works 2 times per week. He or nurse cannot be contacted when problems arise on other days. I had to go to an urgent care facility for help. My problem was never solved.

I've been treated at the famous Cedar Sinai Hospital, in L.A. I've also had emergency surgery at the acclaimed, Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. I can honestly say, that Dr. Owens, is a, "World Class Dr."; right here in Las Cruces! From his expertise, to his "bed-side manner"; Dr. Owens is my favorite Dr. of all time! I've had 2 major surgeries with him. Btw, his staff is SO positive, effective and patient! They LOVE their job and it shows! I always leave that office in a great mood!

Dr Owens not only is a skilled ENT, his ‘bedside’ manner is outstanding. I have enthusiastically recommended him to others, who have thanked me for doing so.

I believe the office is pretty new and still not well organized. Dr. Owens put me on prednisone. After going off the prednisone, I went into horrible withdrawal symptoms, am still going through that. Come to find out that he should have tapered me off the prednisone slowly, but he didn't. He also told me that i needed to go to speech therapy which was weird. Was told I would get a call 2 days later, but I didn' t get a call till almost 2 weeks later from the speech therapist.

Dr. Owens took care of my 91 year old dad. Dad had a parotid tumor and Dr. Owens carefully tended to it until surgery could be booked. He and his staff were always so kind and sweet to us all. I am sorry he is no longer in our area.
