After years of ESI's I have come to learn that they are "off label use" and are not for people with intractable pain. After numerous injections, and blocks, from this office, in conjunction with (2) spinal fusions (by a neurosurgeon) he recommended, I now suffer with adhesive arachnoiditis. Nobody in Connecticut treats it. I found a specialist in California who diagnosed me for free, after mailing 3 CD's of MRI's. Trying to get my primary care doctor to follow along with arachnoiditis, is proving to be very challenging.

Dr Kost is exceptional! I have been a patient of Dr Kost’s since the 1990’s. He is the most compassionate & empathetic Dr I have ever been acquainted with. He is a rare find! Dr Kost has many years of proven success, and that’s from my own experience.

Dr Kost has been instrumental in my pain management. I've been a patient of his office for 4 years after failed lumbar fusions. His team has not only effectively managed my pain, they have prevented me from another back surgery. APRN Suzie is amazing and really goes the extra mile to help. Dr. Kost is a great listener and talks everything out with you in detail so you understand his rationale. I love this office!

Dr. Kost is the best. Always takes the time to listen and consistently tries new approaches to see if it will have better results for you. Everyone in the office goes out of their way to check in with you, say hello, or see how you are feeling.

This office is riddled with a lack of compassion. I never felt that my pain or condition was taken seriously, or even cared about. I always felt as though I were a bother every time I called the office or had an appointment. I arrived and left the office in pain, with no treatment plans or hope of reducing my pain. Was given a procedure in the office and had an adverse reaction, the staff could care less. Will NEVER return.

Dr Kost and his PA Beth Garrison have been instrumental in helping me attain a measure of independence after an injury 19 yrs ago. The injury to my cervical spine was severe, but throughout years of severe pain and rapid decline of my health they never stopped fighting for me. I now have a SCS implant that has been instrumental in me attaining some independence. I simply don’t know where I’d be without their care.

Absolutely amazing! Has never given up on me, always thinking outside the box for any answers that may bring relief, and genuinely cares for his patients! Idk where I'd be without him. May have to wait, but it's always worth it and he spends quality time with each of his patients every single time, never feel rushed. Given my specific situation,he is the one doctor that I can always trust and count on I've had to see and continue to see many...but none like him! I love his midstate staff too

Dr. Kost and his PA Abby have been wonderful to work with. I suffered a head and neck injury after a fall and my neck has been the most problematic. I have nueropathic pain in my neck, head and face. He genuinely cares about his patients and wants to get to the root cause of the problem.

Dr Kost has changed my life over the past couple of years. I am a three time cancer survivor and when i was not feeling well again many doctors wanted to put me on pain meds and put me in a bed for the forseeable future. Dr Kost was able to get me back on my feet quite quickly and has worked with me since, improving my quality of life beyond that which I ever thought possible!!

This man is more than awesome. After two back surgeries, my husband was still unable to bear the pain or walk. We were sent to Dr. Kost as a last resort. Dr. Kost did a thorough hands-on examination of just about every bone in my husbands body. No one had ever taken this much time with him. Dr. Kost suggested that he didn't feel the back was his problem and felt he had serious hip issues. After left hip replaced he is 90% improved. Right hip being done in March. Thank You for caring so much!
